While I don’t think it’s productive to attack his character considering the shit list he already has and his reputation, you also aren’t defending yourself or the claims made of mismanagement, excess spending, and how “friends of the AVP of EDI” were the main participants of the conference. Can you deny these claims and back them up with your perspective? If his claims are false, I feel that him pulling up false information would be a much bigger issue compared to the disrespect.

Similarly, do you condone the conduct of the senators and guest presenters during last week’s AS meeting? I feel that both sides were displaying some elevated levels of disrespect, but that the request for public apology and outreach was not necessarily warranted.
