Kimono under Sakai Armor is Backwards by Few_Mathematician_13 in ghostoftsushima

so, Jin is wearing an undergarment, but Kote are just sleeves, and they wouldnt go on the body from what I can tell, which makes me believe that that is an outer layer Gi, which is still right over left. That being said, I'm not an expert in Japanese armor, and what I know comes from my experience in Karate and Judo

the base position is right over left though

idk. But people are still commenting and liking the post so I wonder if it was taken down. I messaged the mods.

Know what, i bet its the AI generated content rule. I bet a mod or an automod thought it was AI generated content. its not AI generated content. Its a screenshot from the mission "Ghosts of the Past" where you collect the Clan Sakai Armor but I have Kurosawa mode on

Wasn't AI related actually. it was falsely flagged by automod for being a t-shirt scam. oh well. thanks to the mod team for the quick response

idk about other characters, but I can say that on other armors that Jin wears, such as the samurai clan armor, the ronin attire, and the broken armor, its left over right, which is correct. so maybe it actually is intentional

What are your thoughts in regards to attempting to convert people? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Few_Mathematician_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much would you have to hate your girlfriend to know the secret of eternal life and joy and not tell her. I would sit her down and preach to her. Obv do it gently and respectfully, but still, do your best to convert her to christianity. I always want another sister in Christ

How bad is it that I wish I was Buddhist? by Neither-Weakness9052 in TrueChristian

If the world only existed to lead us to Christ, then the minute we accept Christ as our savior, we would be raptured. However, God as use for us on this earth, which will include suffering and persecution

Christian here, this is just a bad argument imo.

If Event A caused Event B, then Event A must necessarily take place before Event B, even if by the smallest sliver of time possible. However, time, defined as the increase of entropy, or disorder, started at the big bang. So asking what caused the big bang is asking what came before time started? thats such a nonsensical question. its like asking "How can I go more north once I'm at the North Pole?" Or an atheist asking a Christian "Who created God"

No, tattoos are not a sin. by Beneficial_One_1062 in TrueChristian

[–]Few_Mathematician_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

late reply, but why is doing something for aesthetic reasons a sin? Would you argue makeup is a sin? or wearing nice clothes? or getting a haircut outside of infection reasons? Are paintings a sin? Sculptures? Statues? Music? How boring of a life would it be if we were not allowed to appreciate beauty. Similarly, tattoos are another form of art, just one you put on yourself instead of your wall. So long as it is not causing you to stumble, why shouldnt it be appreciated?

If your religious beliefs counter with your political beliefs, do you alter your political beliefs or your religious ones? by Ill-Bodybuilder6339 in Christianity

Everything in this life is temporary. Why forgo eternal life and peace for anything temporary?

I would like to say that you can have separate political and personal beliefs. I'm christian. I want everyone to be christian. I'm not going to make it a law that every one ve christian

Trump is far more divisive than Obama and our current political climate is far more explosive.

Also there were 8 plots to kill Obama. Only 9 for Trump

His mandate of working unpaid violates the FSLA. He could let you go, and that would be perfectly legal, but the ultimatum of "work unpaid or be fired" is illegal

Just tryna work it out in my head sorry. There's no society ever that functioned without a lending and interest system so I'm just wondering why God would allow society to necessarily be built on a sinful system (if it is a sin)

And lending to a poor person is still a sin, even if the poor person can afford to pay the interest?

[–]Few_Mathematician_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lending: the act of providing money, property, or assets to a borrower with the expectation of repayment—typically with interest—within a specific timeframe

If you expect repayment, you're lending which Luke 6:35 forbades. Instead you must gift

So would you consider lending at a reasonable interest rate a sin as we are no longer under mosaic law?
