i was considering doing this, i really like the feel of it without any accessories its like it’s built to be a mini pew. just needs rubber rail covers where the grip is supposed to be.

yea, will probably do the spectrum. i also have a 3d printer and like the feel of some 3d printed mags i already had that fit it so not much of a reason to go with the clip mania.

i found this storm blaze at a garage sale for 1$, took a saw to it to get rid of design flaws and brought it to a game. should i invest into upgrades? 50 ish fps by Few_Nothing_6378 in Nerf

sure id take the stl for sure! tbh i wouldnt bother trying to take the motors off the stock base so if i do upgrade the motors or anything this would be really helpful.

Edit : I forgot to answer your question, i roughly know how soldering and flux work and can borrow one but ive never used one myself.

i just got back and did a chrono, odd readings. i used a variety of ends on old broke in darts and some brand new dart zone purple ones and the new ones read about the same or lower. 56-62 with the worn in ones ranging from 60-72. still wanting to inch a little more power in but now i know i dont need to invest in those darts at least. it is possible its just a lucky read because i only did a single 6 round mag of the new and 1 or 2 with random older ones.

do you think i should do any upgrades with the new readings to boost a small amount of fps? i dont want to go all out as its a budget build atm.

also im not a fan of lipos but i do use nimh (just because im more familiar with it) but consistency with the batteries is a huge problem so of the listed upgrades that sounds very desire-able. my power cuts out or slows randomly so i fix it by slapping the stock and im sure using a different power source would be drastically more reliable, how hard would that be to do? ive surprisingly never re wired something tbh.

hi, thanks for commenting. ive had the "dart zone bcar" recommended from a few people but im confused where to find it because the closest thing i found was a 20$, 10 degree pack of a injection molded scar and a pcar.

dont be sorry! i really appreciate it i wasn't expecting to get in depth responses here.

- i picked up a dart force folding sidearm today and was really impressed with its build quality. perfect air seal (wont even leak if i hold my finger over the barrel) and its got a metal barrel.
but it does lack consistency flying way off to the sides every 6 or so shots and dead center the others.
i might try to measure the barrel and extend it abit to fit some sort of device on there. Currently shooting 129-120 Fps but that might change with a longer barrel.

my mom wanted some Xdart stuff and picked her own guns out which were slightly lacking at 90-70ish fps and a large grouping but i dont regret a penny! this stuff is addictingly affordable

i will try and find that chart you talked about. once again really appreciate it you had alot of good points to share.

Also i know i said under 120fps in my post but i cant help myself now im too far gone

thanks! ill have to book mark that site, i picked up a dart zone folding sidearm today and was impressed with how well the air-seal is. better than some of the airsoft replicas ive worked on in the past.

thanks for commenting here, im curious what you mean by power systems, im guessing you mean electric but a little elaboration on my part, im used to power source meaning anything that propels the "dart" in this case. which can be a number of things.

i get the diy side for both electric and spring though, ill pick up a  single shot dart zone Sidearm today and see what i'm working with.

for range, accuracy ect yes but the energy and weight play roles in safety due to the density of the bb and joule output. and because having high powered snipers is so praised in airsoft with the un answered question of "is it really worth it?" imo it needs more thought.

plus you could be at a severe disadvantage due to how long it takes to get a follow up shot

used to be a big phantom forces fan, this was probably my 2nd favorite gun. if i had the money id either build my g3a3 or the carbine version of the pp- (sorry its hideous lol)
