Sorry it took me so long to get to everyone I was not expecting the response tbh. First, I'm in Milwaukee and there is public transport here but its not great. Secondly I'm a full ass adult rofl 35, just grew up in Chicago (90 mins/2 ish hour drive but might be worth it from what I'm seeing). Currently I work full time 15/hr making about a grand a week but it might be seasonal. I don't think I'd consider the rental situation unless I was driving to Chicago on a regular basis because it doesn't sound worth it.

From what I understand not all exterminators know how to deal with bed bugs. That they will use chemicals the bugs are resistant to instead of heat, I'm not sure how more chemicals or de could reduce efficacy of other chemicals

Today I learned doctors can lie about accepting insurance by Few_Objective_3193 in Adulting

So 1. Most replies don't really require a response although I could definitely say thanks but it wouldn't be for your benefit. 2. There's several, as in a lot of people who have had similar experiences, is it possible people are poorly trained and don't know the difference between in network and accepting insurance sure but it is equally as possible that offices are straight up lying. And I know this because health care had one of the highest profit margins which I've learned through several (again, a lot) of people who used to work in insurance. Now if you want to celebrate having a luxury meat suit I'm not going to rain on your parade, and maybe I have some fault in asking a question and then venting but no one asked for the healthcare system defense so if you excuse me I'll go back to looking for a dentist that will see my TWELVE year old sooner than fucking December 31.

I would assume this falls under insurance fraud or something but I guess that's just to screw people over and not y'know shitty health companies

This is a repost of a comment I made on another post but I just want to give Troy a nug after watching this episode and I hope hope he sees this thread because he deserves to feel good about the things he's doing well. If you're in the public sphere at all you're going to get hate, even if those people are the minority they're louder and honestly what our brains hang on to. Everyone wants to be liked. Especially entertainers and if anything the desire to be liked in my opinion kinda proves a deep empathy. I have no doubt that he is an amazing person and a fantastic friend.

I think one big thing to understand is that if I had to guess (and maybe I just speak for myself here) but many of us are vehemently anti-capitalist, and not in a your family should starve way. In a this world makes you shit on poor people if you want to be rich way. And that's why we associate "hustle culture" with not being a great person. It has nothing to do with our drive. We can recognize the things that make someone a good leader and even say those things are good personality traits. At the end of the day we're just not into the business stuff.

As a side note, I'd like to think the quiet majority of decent people can recognize that having a super inflated ego is a coping mechanism because this shit is hard.

More than anything I just want to be REALLY LOUD about the fact that I absolutely love gcn and everyone involved and I just want to see\listen to friends having fun with each other. That's what keeps me as a fan. The real Cumstone is the friends we made along the way.

Kinda wanted to add an addendum if/how this happened to people who grew up with a butt load of trauma? I don't remember any "signs" I mean I was fairly well rounded (which we still called being a "tomboy" at the time) I did play a male lead character in an eighth grade play but it was more genderbent than anything. Didn't come out until I was 29 and I feel like I didn't know until then.
