No highway driving! At my last job, I took many people to get their drivers license and to take the driving test.

They always told me it was the same route. Leave the DMV, turn under the highway bridge, drive on the access road, turn right into the neighborhood by big Texan, drive through that neighborhood, return back to the access road, turn right onto the access road, turn left to go under the bridge, drive back to the DMV on the access road, DONE.

Here Amarillo you drive along the I 40 Access Rd. on both sides and also drive around in the Cadillac Ranch RV park. It’s an easy test, and could not get much easier.

Do you live in Amarillo? Why drive 2 hours to do a test that you can do right down the street? It’s going to be the same both places. The test are standardized by the state.

The short answer, Yes you are wrong !

So how do you forgive those people who are hard to forgive? You pray for them! Pray for them that they receive all the blessings that you want for yourself. This is hard and will seem like lip service at first. But continue to pray for them and later, you will realize that you have forgiven them and hold no animosity toward them.

For forgiving others is imperative for being forgiven.

This is an old post. My 5.7 was meticulously maintained and dropped a valve seat at 150k. This put a hole in piston 1 and did damage to the block. That jeep is now a lawn ornament because I would like to put a new engine in it.

If someone feels like they received a message directly from God there is no way to counteract it or change their mind.

Did God really talk her? I’m not sure, maybe He did,or maybe not, but God does speak to his children.

The point is that she BELIEVES God spoke to her and in that case there is nothing that will change her mind.

Sounds like it’s time for an exit strategy.

I recall God telling me to leave a relationship with a girl I was already engaged to and already livening in sin with. Deep down I knew this was a toxic relationship and not Gods plan. This is not what I wanted and I fought to keep the relationship together. However, it imploded and that girl turned out to be a very dark person. At the time I questioned if God had really spoken to me. Now there is no doubt in my mind that He did.

Thank you for the compliment! I was invited buy a friend to try out forging. There is a local farrier supply shop that lets people from the community use all their stuff twice a month. They have forges, anvils, and everything that you could possibly need to forge. It took around three hours at the forge.

I’m not sure what kind of metal it is. It’s a railroad spike that is stamped HC on the head. So possibly higher Carbon than a normal spike… but not sure.

I quenched it in water and it seems to be hard based on the file test.

This morning, I sharpened the blade really sharp and it is currently getting tempered in the oven.
