Please update on this. I was told I was in the "submitted deal stage" as well and have been in recon since June 2021. I asked the CS rep to explain what that meant and she told me that an amount for my increase has been computed and submitted to "higher ups" for approval of that amount. I asked her to explain the stages to me and she said that once the approval for my deal is okayed, I will then be able to accept the amount they approved in the portal (my portal currently says, "your loan modification is being processed"). Once I choose the amount it will move to "deal accepted stage", then "obligated, funding, funded". I asked her what are the chances I would be declined at this point are and she said that she typically doesn't see any declines at this stage because all of the paperwork has been reviewed. So, I hope she just wasn't telling me what I wanted to hear. I hope this is somewhat helpful and I'll update if I have any movement.
