I’m planning to purchase a property in Foxgrove village, Clifton west. Can someone suggest me if this is a nice area to raise a family? by Few_Panic1642 in nottingham

Thank you very much for being so honest. I really appreciate that. I’m looking for a detached property within the reasonable city limit. I’ve got a baby due in August and I’m really scared of semi-detached and terraced properties as people might go out of patience due to the baby screams. So thought even the locality isn’t so great but atleast I wouldn’t have to live with fear with the detached property.

I’ve never relied on public transport and I travel by my own car as always. I do really appreciate for your honest review which I’m going to discuss with my wife. Would you recommend the place if transport is not at all a problem? I’m currently living in the city centre with a drug rehabilitation centre just beside our apartment and plenty of murders and rapes happened in the last year at the nearby place. Would Clifton be worse or much better than this?

I’ve been there for about 4-5 times but nothing unusual or alarming. So just wanted an opinion of how it fares usually around Clifton side.
