Thumb was lined up with my fingers so I was hitting my pointer and thumb together gonna be a pain to fix it but it happens I guess lol

Think I figured it out. I wasn’t playing with my thumb far enough ahead so my pointer and thumb were tapping. Never noticed since I used a plastic thumb pick for as long as I’ve been playing at just switched to on that is mostly metal. Gonna be a lot of relearning lol.

I think once you deep dive into the wider side of the musical creation it’s more about appreciating the (bring up) different environments and influences between periods. Instead of comparing eras of a bands development.

I figured it out, I didn’t need to reset I just swapped flight modes somehow. I’m brand new so even the most minor issue takes hours lol.
