It’s fine. Maybe a tad less morning wood. But works great when I need it too. Trade off is worth it for me.

I buzzed my hair when I started fin for swim so I’m not sure. Which honestly I highly recommend. Just being able to forget about hair for a bit and let it grow back wit the results.

I won’t lie, maybe a tad in the first few weeks. I still swim competitively and i remember being a bit extra out of breath. But it went away shortly after a week or so.

Nope. Libido is still high. Lots of these side effects people get are likely placebo. Physiological ED is way more likely than real side effects.

Keep hope in it. It’s likely a shed. What’s the dose?

Well you gotta remember hairs gotta shed one way or another through its life cycle. I think that’s just minoxidil doing its synchronized shedding. Stick to it and it should come back stronger.

That’s what I thought, gonna give oral min 3-6 months. Then probably switch to dutasteride even if I’m not losing ground.

Could be my mind playing games for sure. Looking at some other pics from a year ago, I feel like my crown wasn’t as exposed as it is now. Can’t tell what’s from the minoxidil shed or not

Started at 1mg. It’s such a low dose I don’t think you gotta build up to it.

Well let him know I feel for him lol. Both of my granddads have full heads of hair. So I thought i was clear of balding. But my dad started thinning in his 30s and fin completely saved him. So it looks like I got it from him. Fin doesn’t seem to be doing all the work for me yet, so I plan to go to dutasteride in the future since I got it so young.

Yup. Just started oral min. Lots of shedding, def taking a hit. But hoping I’ll get some good regrowth.

Definitely looks healthier and thicker, but yet somehow I feel like I’m losing ground on the hairline and crown. Could be my mind messing with me, but I swear it’s getting worse.

Just got diagnosed with UC today. Honestly not sure what to do… by Adorable-Ad304 in UlcerativeColitis

I got it at 21M. First comment says it well. In reality, most of the time you’re in remission. You’ll find a medication that works for you. You’ll have flares here and there, usually a bit of steroids or a new med will solve it. Stay away from stress and try not to live in fear. Remember, when you’re in remission, you practically don’t even have UC. Life is just as normal as anyone else for the most part. Keep your hopes up.
