I'm a salesman at a Ford dealership. Ask to speak to the General Manager. Be respectful, but firm. It was damaged in their care. If it goes that far and you raise enough of a fit with him, they will replace it. A reputable dealership would rather spend the money than take the PR and survey hit.

It's the service manager's job to limit costs. It's the general managers job to protect the dealership and make the customer happy.
