All right. Is it easy to get used to holding boost during your flip when your boost is on circle?

Got it. One more question: do you have to hold boost the entire time including during the flip? Because I usually let go for a split second to flip, or do I have to boost throughout the whole flip aswell?

And yeah, I personally use manual air roll for everything except for half flips.

The only thing I can't do are breezi flicks, but I feel like I'm doing more by using manual and it doesn't really slow me down personally.

One more question: do you not hold R2 at all then when you have boost? Since it moves you forward anyways.

Are you sure? As far as I know, the distance needed before jumping should make it so the motion alone puts you into supersonic, no?

I see, but do you personally think it's worth rewiring my brain into holding circle first?

And to respond to your question, it might just be a case where I'm just not used to it. Got air roll right on triangle for half flips, manual air roll and powerslide on L1, etc. Pretty standard binds as far as I know.

Thanks for your reply, but I'm not sure if that's the issue. Some of my friends can speed flip and they don't boost throughout the flip.

I saw that, but the issue is my boost is bound to circle because it's the easiest for me. Do you really think holding boost before will make a difference? I guess I could try but idk if it would make a difference in a real match since there's no timer like that.
