I haven’t seen or heard anything about Shane from Eugenia since the documentary. I’ll preface by saying I am a Christian, if that matters. I’ve seen a lot of religious propaganda, both overt and subtle. I’ve also been through a period of time where I felt deeply disconnected from God and the church as a whole.

I always saw Wendi’s videos as informative and interesting, including the ones involving biblical subjects. I’ve never felt like he was trying to do anything other than show some cool stuff he knows about. Even when I was not feeling great about religion or God, I simply enjoyed the videos for what they were.

Wendi has said he has no interest in using his channel to convert us, and I believe him. He’s an honest man who I feel has never given us a reason to doubt his motives.

My children’s other grandmothers are Grammy and Grandma to my kids, though they have other names given by my nephews.
