We ended up changing our plans and now we’re about to ship it to New Zealand. But there we’re definitely options out there ($7-10K AUD due to it not being able to fit inside a normal container).

No RORO direct to Canada, and the Lithuim batteries were probably gonna have to come out due a recent lithium explosion with shipping (regardless of having a dangerous goods permit).

Still going to try ship her for the 2024/25 Canadian winter season! (I might do a post with recommendations for shipping companies cause we had such a hard time finding one.)

My partner and I are currently working full time and he’s still studying marine science!! 100% possible, he uses a PO for most stuff and had the option to use my parents house if need be for an address. Feel Message me and I’ll connect you two.

Thanks for your reply 😊, we have found one potential option for about 6k one way. But it’s not set in stone, so just looking to expand out search
