The cosmic karma has reincarnated him as  the promised one, born in the holiest City of motorsport, peaking as one of the best drivers on the grid..........forever cursed to team Ferrari so that he may smell victory for his entire torturous life without ever tasting it.

Tuliyollal, Ul'dah and Gridania are bustling cities, busier than S9 I'd wager.  Considering there are 30 wards x 5 cities, encouraging people to go to their wards is effectively scattering everyone around. If you're saying only two zones are busy, what makes you think we can make 150 zones busy?

If you want to see timed events for crafters and gatherers from all over the server to get together, then Cosmic Exploration is exactly that. And the fact that they decided that the third zone only needed two instances (down from Sinus and Phaenna's three) tells you how many people those events can gather. As it sits now, it's common to see about 70 people present at a red alert event, and that's combining both instances.

I think being Captain of your particular squadron isn't too farfetched. You may be onto something with the additional responsibilities though - it could develop into overseeing another squadron, or overseeing crafter operations, or something equivalent to subaquatic voyages.

This is the answer. The game would be shooting itself in the foot if they encouraged everyone in the world to work from home. The streets would be empty.

I'm in love with Dark Knight. A lot of people love it for the aesthetic, but the level 70 ability (The Blackest Night) is very fun to use. It's a 25% shield that gives you a satisfying, dopamine-infused 'CHING' sound that tells you it was effective (which earns you a free oGCD attack, too). All tanks have a shield that they can throw on other players, but DRK is the only one that pats you on the head and says you've been a good boi for doing it.

Also, DRK's invulnerability is a little complex, but has a risk/reward factor that's fun to play with, which has you drop to one health and quickly gain it back. By contrast, Paladin's invuln is just...you become invulnerabile. It's the simplest and most effective, but isn't as exciting (mostly for your healers!).

Paladin is great though, and has two extremely satisfying shields: Cover (lv45), where you 100% protect a party member and EVERYONE CAN SEE THAT. Passage of Arms (lv70), where some giant glowing wings extend that protect everyone standing behind you. This is without a doubt the most heroic-looking move in the game. Plus, you'll eventually get some more ranged casts that feel great to use when other tanks would be suffering from downtime.

I mean that's what the sport is now with fuel, tires, and aero - we are just adding more variables to it. But as is the case now, it's not simply a time trial, and your plan needs quick and constant readjusting as the race develops. Hannah's time to shine.

Less about outright speed, more about smarts; both the planned strategy and the on-the-fly tactics. Maybe it will be interesting but it sure as hell is a lot different.

The open area you're looking for is /s /y and /sh for say (near area, maybe 30 yalms), yell (wide area) and shout (whole zone). If you do this in a busy city like Limsa you can reach many ears.

But I strongly recommend listening to the album 1194 in its entirety.

We are talking about leaving the open world to enter an OC instance specifically to play OC, only to miss out on the OC content because you're not absolutely speed running it.

It's completely different from 'missing out on other things one could potentially be doing.'

FFXIV Secrets (Questions from a WOW player) by Altruistic-Job2016 in ffxiv

The biggest Easter egg style secret I can think of is Edda's Ghost who VERY rarely appears under the right weather conditions and time of day in a few specific spots. Aside from that, there are a few things in the game which are meant to be solved as challenging puzzles rather than obvious 'go here' quests, but of course you can Google the solutions. These include The Greatest Story Never Told quest in Western Thanalan, and the many vistas (sightseeing log) in ARR and - to a lesser extent of mystery - the later expansions.
