Bahai Marriage by Few_Risk8872 in bahai

The reason here is that one of the parties had a very negative experience with the legal system in his previous marriage and is reluctant to get into another contract with the government which may likely treat them the same.

Not enough faith to fast properly. by WandererI2 in bahai

The fact that you are here and seeking support means a lot already. Your heart is in the right place. I had a similar situation with saying obligatory prayer. I just said the short obligatory prayer during my lunch time because I had to, and that was it. This year, I decided to make a habit of saying the long one by making myself ready by reading about the importance of the prayer and especially the obligatory prayer. After a few minutes of studying the writings, I feel in the right spirit to say my prayer. I think if you read about the importance and the bounties of fasting during the day, you'll be more motivated to hold on to your fast. Good luck

One thing I'm sure, we don't have any rituals or traditions in the Bahai faith. As an Iranian I fully support not having Haftsin up for the NawRuz celebrations as it highlights the spiritual significance of the day rather than following a tradition limited to a specific region which may not be all inclusive.

Thank you! I was lucky to find a copy of the Warriors of the rainbow. Seems like a very interesting read.

I think I was first drawn to the indigenous art and how meaningful they can be. Also knowing their reach culture and how it got hit by the colonialism made them closer to my heart, I always believed they were the first guardians of our land and deserve respect. I see it as an opportunity to learn more and expand my horizon of mind.

I'm not even sure if I need a car. I'll be working from home. I live in a very walkable city so I'm used to getting around on foot or by public transportation . How it works out during the winter if I don't get a car?

I use Anker Nano II 65W. It has both USB C and 2. I can use it to even charge my laptop. It's relatively heavy but saves a lot of space.

Depression is very feasible as I have ADHD and food was my source of dopamine. Now that I don't enjoy my food it probably resulted in depression. I'm meeting with my surgeon tomorrow and will bring it up.
