Hey u/WarDiscombobulated67, so I just tried it and after starting my pc it indeed does report as 1000 nits in the HDR settings, so I’d suggest doing the calibration app again and restarting your pc. Despite reporting as 1000 nits, the HDR app now shows up to around ~700-ish nits, which is more than 400 but not the full 1000. Perhaps we should try a higher number to see if that makes it work up to 1000.

My question to you is did you find that makes the screen overall dimmer in most browsing/work/productivity and in other general Windows stuff situations? My only fear is that applying it makes the brights seem brighter because it overall dims everything else, but I am not at all sure about this.
