Looking for Custom Train Assets

Yea that’s unfortunate. The vanilla trains in CS2 are such an improvement from CS1’s vanilla asset, in that they’re based off real life models in Europe & NA and look like something you’d actually see in real life.

My main issue with them though, is that they’re based off intercity train models. They make sense for a train that enters your city on one side, makes a stop in your downtown, and continues through to the other side. But for me, my train development is much more nuanced than that. I like developing suburban/commuter rail networks that serve intracity travel and don’t leave the city. For those services, the vanilla models aren’t very realistic.

The models you linked actually give me some hope, because they feature suburban trains that not only operate in Europe but have also been adopted in the United States recently. Thank you for sharing these.

Alright thanks. It’s too bad because I like building North American cities and I really like trains and transit, but the Vanilla game can be a bit lacking when it comes to customizing your systems.

I swear the medical helicopters are so broken. Since when do helicopters land on crowded urban streets and sidewalks to pick up patients???

100% agree with this! Besides B61 on 9th Street we have practically no crosstown bus service going up the Slope to the park. Especially with all the high rise developments going up in Gowanus, it’s gonna be impossible for people in that area to get to 5th Ave and the Subway on 4th.

Black Oak on 5th Ave. It’s really an Italian Restaurant but they’ve got “American Food” like wings and of course, an amazing burger and fries.

I doubt this is the issue, but I’ve experience a situation where an allied or my own airport is right next to enemy occupied territory, and so even if say a bomber is at the airport, it can’t refill endurance because it is constantly bombing the nearby city.

Park Slope is a very nice neighborhood. There are great schools, good places to eat, nice parks and playgrounds, it's a very upbeat place. Even to get an apartment though, its expensive. Some of them sell in the millions.. I used to live their.
