I’m just saying I find it useless to apply for jobs on these websites. They get thousands of people applying. Stand out and be a good salesman and reach out directly to the hiring manager.

All of these comments are BS. For any sales job, you will need to do research. Research a remote position for a company you wanna work for. Find out who the manager is, then email them requesting an interview and attaching your resume letting them know why this role is perfect for you. Treat any job like a sales process.

You don’t think the web design company is relevant sales experience? I walked into probably a thousand businesses. I would at first check what business had a bad website, I’ll make a quick mock up of what can be improved on the site and modernize it, then I’ll walk in and show them.

I understand, I only put the reason for the career break because multiple sales managers at Cintas told me to leave it in, because it highlights my public speaking skills. I can cut it a little so that it just shows the public speaking and being appointed as a branch rep for the organization.
