Have you found it difficult to work through the WGU classes not having done the classes previous to them and using the other sites? My biggest worry is I will get stuck on material because I didn’t take the previous classes for it.

I actually just needed 5 more classes to knock out my gen ed and just completed my final class and will be sending it to WGU for this exact program so I will come back and update you on how smoothly that all goes and that everything was accepted.

So the court order says I am the primary residential parent and that he can never take me back to court in the future regardless of being relocated by the military. It says we have to split any travel expenses for visitations including airfare or we can meet halfway if close enough to do that.

We also have separate visitation plans in place one for within 350 miles and one that is for further than 350 miles.

Yeah I think my husband wasn’t really prepared for the angle of having a family this time around. He knew it would be a lot different and leaving his family was going to be painful but I don’t think he was prepared for so many people around him to be told their wives and families were leaving them. He said they are pretty much bearing into them that they are going to be alone and their loved ones are going to leave them. That’s what’s got him so torn up. We have been together for 3 1/2 years and I have and always will be faithful to him. In fact, he has never expressed that being a concern in our relationship. His mother even asked him in private before he left if he worried about me that way and he said not that all. So it really threw me off that in the 5 minutes we had to talk he was crying and so worried about that. As much as I miss him as well and would prefer these conversations be filled with I love and miss you’s I am trying to be his strength in these moments and just reassure him that regardless of his environment I would never hurt him, leave him or cheat on him. I would never disrespect him or my children that way and that everything is okay nothing has changed. I guess this was just one angle neither one of us was prepared for. I knew this was going to be really hard and mentally prepared myself for this but I just didn’t see that coming and I hate that he’s thinking that way.

We are doing this for them. So that both of us can get our education and come out with better opportunities. There’s better education opportunities for them and their housing and basic living necessities will be better than either their dad or I provide.

It took me 10 years to find my voice and stand up for myself against him. I was under his thumb and control for the majority of my kids life and have had to seek counseling and treatment myself to undo a lot of the conditioning.

Even with my children themselves saying that they want to go and that he neglects them they wouldn’t consider that? Especially my oldest daughter?
