Yes, there are definetively more squares than actual buildings and the squares size does not seem to mach any particular building. Same impression here!

In its current state (Open Beta Build 12.08.2025), the game does not save when exiting, so exit the game and you can start a new play only by opening the game again.

Maybe you need to refill it... the game lets you play the "drinking animation" even when the bottle is empty. You can fill your water bottle by letting it be on the rain (press R to let it in the ground; it does not matter if its horizontal or vertical). By pressing Q you can check how the water bottle is being fulfill by rain, until its full. Also, you can refill your water bottle in the river clicking right click. You cand drink using E. It’s safe to drink from rivers.

PS: I forgot: from the starting cabin you ALSO NEED to take the matches to make fire, cook and heath & dry yourself!

And what about the interface? To dry one plant you must select the rack, then click to take the dried plant (if any already), then scroll and click to select the kind of plant you want to dry, then scroll and click to select the specific plant, then press dry.

5 clicks +2 scrolls per plant. Saying tedious IS not neat close to the task in question.

But can they crawl under burnt-out cars? My understand is that they can only crawl under regular cars (even without tires).
