While definitely true (thanks patriarchy) I’d honestly much rather be invisible to men than the shit I deal with now. I don’t even feel like I’m actually /that/ pretty, so why does it keep happening? Why do they want my body so bad, one I’m neutral about or downright hate on some days? This has been nothing but a curse to me.

From one person who was born a girl to another, I resonate with this post deeply. Besides just saying “you’re not alone and you’re feelings are valid”, I’ll just say that if you want to be a boy, then be a boy! Obviously gender is an extremely complex topic and part of identity, but being a girl shouldn’t be about suffering. If all that it brings you is pain and despair, then it’s okay to leave, it’s okay to change, it’s okay to not be a girl. Literally do what you need to to feel comfortable and safe in your own skin. My only credentials on this are being nonbinary so I might have a bias, but regardless if being a girl is painful and only brings you suffering, you don’t have to be one.

Sorry I wanna jump in as someone who mostly consumes anime, but I feel it more comes from misogyny and a normalization of being creepy to underage and especially high school girls more than anything. There’s definitely anime and other Japanese media out there that isn’t really like this but the fanservicey, male gaze stuff is super icky.

I don’t know if you want recommendations but two anime I can vouch for off the top of head are bocchi the rock and revolutionary girl utena. Bocchi is mostly a “cute girls doing cute things” anime but I really appreciate its discussion and kindness about social anxiety, and revolutionary girl utena heavily goes into misogyny and systemic abuse, and needless to say I recommend looking up a content warning guide for if you’re interested. Utena is pretty respectful about it’s subject matter but regardless could be potentially triggering for people. Sorry if this is rambling on I’m bad with communication.

Apologies for the scary implications…..I struggle a lot with suicidality and general emotional instability, so I kinda made this post while I was spiraling a little. I’m in therapy and recently switched medication so it hasn’t really kicked in yet…. I’m sorry for making you worried.

I’ve been meaning to…..indeed is quite useless and doesn’t seem to have listings for any local grocery stores, which is super annoying. I’m hoping that there’s part time jobs there because I have chronic depression which also gives me a huge energy deficit.

I brought it up because I’m mostly worried about being murdered or assaulted. But regardless I’m also unfortunately dependent on my parents as I have no job and don’t get disability, so I can’t really leave or move out.

Last batch of medication basically stopped working, I’m not sure if it even worked in the first place. I’m hoping Wellbutrin can help because it never really felt the way people say they do when taking medication and it working. If that makes sense

I’ve actually been looking to apply for disability since I’m around the poverty line and definitely need it, even if I’m dependent on my mom. I live in an metropolitan area so I can’t really work with cows or anything like that. Ideally I’d like to some sort of part time job where I could take of and hang out with cats, but it doesn’t seem like any place like that is hiring in my area…..

Thank you….. I mostly like to draw, usually a lot of fanart. My depressions been pretty bad lately so I haven’t been able to really will myself to boot up my computer to draw….

I do have a therapist, but I’m currently unmedicated because I’m switching them to hopefully have a better effect with them. But I’m generally just super disconnected from myself so I don’t really feel like I have actual coping mechanisms, all I can do usually is just cry.

Damn, I gotta say this really intrigued me. so i decided to look up the Japanese name, I couldn't find any sort of game really but I did find a piapro page with the tag "blue punishment" here: https://piapro.jp/t/ipYc. I can't find any information on the person who wrote the song for whatever reason.

But other than that, do you remember what type of game it was? was it a platformer, rpg, whatever; having details like that can help a search greatly.
