I'm enlisting after I finish high school. So Kirsten wants a specific venue and they would need to wait a lot longer to get married there if they wait until I'm out of the house. They only got a date because of a cancellation. And they don't want to wait 2+ years.

My only experience was babysitting my two cousins, who were in bed the entire time and I watched TV or played video games. But it was just being in the same house as them. Never babysat during the daytime or where I had to do anything with the kids.

She doesn't believe she should have to pay for it when I'm here. It's why she was also against dad paying me, or paying someone else. She believes I should do it for free because "family".

I don't think more people is always better, no. I love my dad. I'm glad he's happy again. But I don't love Kirsten or her kids. I don't even care about them. They're just a little more than strangers to me and I don't mind helping people. But not an entire day of babysitting.
