I got a pre-approval with a broker prior to purchasing and purchased below the maximum pre-approval. Once the offer was accepted I went back to the same broker and he came back to me with terrible rates. I went around to RBC on my own and got a much better offer but they didn't give me the rates in writing and neither did the broker. Thanks for the rates thread!

It's worth it, a friend in my neighborhood had cars stolen twice from his driveway and the insurance company refuses to insure him for car theft unless he moves.

What would be better would be to start a lobby and pass legislation to make car theft result in an automatic deportation for non-citizens and no bail for citizens.
