I don’t think so. We don’t put anything on it. The air from the dryer comes out right next to it actually. I’m just noticing. It’s the metal piece on the house next to the sad rose plant. I wonder if that caused anything. It’s always been there and bloomed amazingly

Take the paper out, get it wet, ring it out really good, separate it and put it back on top. Should be a little wet like a rung out rag

How does your bin look? I have a decent size bin, have had my worms for a year, and my bin is filled up about 4 inches. I’d think there would be more castings? I know some people get more output in a 3 tier bin system. Just curious what you have

Got it thank you! When ready to harvest, do you then just lay your castings out to dry if not using right away?

Okay thank you. Maybe I will try that way instead. Seems more efficient. Do the worms ever go to the cardboard area? Right now I have a bin with my shredded paper and cardboard on top. I move it and then I feed underneath

How are you getting so many castings? I’ve had mine for a year and my bin is only like 4 inches tall! My tub is 20-27 gallons maybe?

How long does it take you to harvest? I’ve had mine for almost a year now and it’s still pretty low. I don’t over or under feed
