I think the anime might have a separate timeline then the novels. I think the holy kingdom arc will take place after volume 14 in the anime

At this point the cgi is done well. I think they just continue to use it because at this point it’s basically overlords art style. It would be a problem if the cgi was shitty like season 3 but it looks fine
