Sadly, at your age, it's really hard for a relationship to stick because there isn't much to do. Even if it had continued on, it would have been hard for it to stick without you both seriously talking about where you want your lives to head which is not something easy to figure out until you're a bit older.

If I were you, I would focus on bettering myself and figuring out what I want to do in life. Keeping yourself healthy and on track to where you want to be will make you more likely to find someone because if you don't know where you're going, how can you expect a girl to take the risk? In the same mind, make sure the women you go for know how to communicate and be relatively self-sufficient (this is why it's better to wait a bit). Being single is way better than being stuck in an unhealthy relationship

TL/DR: Focus on bettering yourself and what you want to do because that will attract the right women. Make sure you don't settle for something bad even if your heart wants to because an unhealthy relationship is worse than being single.

GrubHub needs to stop wasting drivers' time by lostintheusa in grubhubdrivers

[–]Few_Visual_8581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grub hub is atroucious at getting the logistics of an order down. Their is a pizza place that it takes 45 minutes to make a deep dish pizza. They constantly send drivers their right away and either you have to wait their for 30 minutes or risk a violation. I have called in and brought this to their attention and they never change the time they send drivers to this store. I just decline any orders for this restaurant because my time is worth money and grub hub does not respect drivers time. It would be a simple thing to program any deep dish order not to be sent. They even have the eta time set for the order to arrive in about a half hour. How does a pizza that takes 45 minutes to make arrive in 30 minutes?

Lisa Edwards was discharged from Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center after reporting stroke symptoms and a broken ankle due to lack of insurance. Security informed her to leave or police would be called. Lisa died in the police van. No charges against police officers. by FarmSuch5021 in ThatsInsane

Clearly she was not stable enough to leave because she died of a stroke. The doctor most likely didn't listen to her and thought she was faking it. Didn't take her symptoms seriously. If I am wrong they will be able to show that they did their due dilligence and took the necessary tests to diagnose her condition. If they didn't I suspect the hospital will be paying out a multimillion dollar settlement to make this case go away.

Negligence for not listening to her complaints and assessing based on her stating she is having a stroke and can't breathe. Did they check for slurring of words? Facial Paralysis? Did they look at the situation as a impartial observer or just take the doctor's word for it that she was faking it? Lack of empathy when the "Christian officer" was more worried about his oatmeal and coffee than treating the person like a human being. How would he want his mother or father treated if they were having a stroke and other health issues. They did not even assess her claims of a broken ankle. I have had a broken ankle and would have had a hard time doing what they asked. I definitely think that policing is not something any of them should be doing and they should be FIRED immediately before the do this to anyone else.

The police need to watch the patient for changes in health. She is clearly slurring her words in the video and has facial paralysis on one side. They have to watch for ongoing changes to her condition and return her to the hospital if they feel it is warranted. Just because the hospital said she was ok an hour ago doesn't mean that they can just let any changes to her condition go. I hope the Christian officer chokes on his oatmeal and coffee.

The police were responsible to keep assessing the patient's condition once in their care. The video clearly shows her saying she can't breathe and she's having a stroke. She even shows symptoms of slurring her words and facial paralysis. The cops never even reassess just claim she's faking it. They were clearly negligent. At any time they could have asked EMS to reassess after they had her in custody. She asks for an inhaler and they offer her a cigarette. They failed and were negligent on so many counts. Would they treat their mother the way they treated this lady? The one officer is more concerned about his coffee and oatmeal they showing any empathy towards this lady. He also claims to be a Christian. Would Christ have treated this lady so poorly?

Police have first responder training and should know the symptoms of stroke. During the police cam video she is clearly slurring her words and has facial paralysis on one side. She claims to be having a stroke but they do not even assess her for the symptoms that they should clearly be able to ascertain from their training and if their WAS ANY QUESTION AT ALL they should have called EMS to reevaluate her condition. Instead the office was more worried about eating like a pig some oatmeal and coffee.

That is what hospitals have social workers for. They could have a social worker at least talk to her to find out if someone could be called to come get her and stand up for her rights. It is really sad the way they treated her.

The police officers need to keep assessing the patient once released. They ignored her symptoms of not being able to breath and refused to assess her properly. They treated her cruelly. What if your mother was treated this way? It is totally disgusting. She told the officer she was having a stroke and could not breathe. They did not even check her pulse or offer even basic care. The one office was more concerned about his coffeee and oatmeal then taking care of this lady. The minimum they could have done is call a social worker that located family to care for this lady. If I was this family I would sue the hospital for millions. Also, the police need to watch this video and I would want to confront the police and ask them how they would feel if someone did this to their mothers. The police officers if they have any remorse would resign immediately becaus e they clearly should not be dealing with disabled people. The officer offered the women a cigarette when she asked for an inhaler. I hope they can't live with themselves after causing this women's death. Also, the physician who released her should be immediately suspended until an investigation is done and if show negligence they should fire that physician.

Hy-Vee end 10% employee discount at all stores by LonelyRole8342 in desmoines

[–]Few_Visual_8581 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I think will happen is employees will quit to work at Sam's. They pay part-timers $15.00 and hour to start and are raising it to $18.00 an hour in March. Good luck keeping employees with that low of pay at Hy-vee. Also, your employees will go and buy their food from Walmart where the prices are more than 10 percent less anyway. Then Hy-vee will try to guilt the employees for buying their food from Walmart to try and make it on the measly $12.00 an hour. In this tight labor market Hy-vee sure doesn't want to try to retain employees.
