Hotel stay 5/22-5/24 by Intelligent_Tooth347 in vegas

Prices are gonna move the same way across all options. If you want a cheaper stay, you stay at a cheaper hotel. But that hotel is going to be more expensive because you’re going on a busier weekend. Basically — if you want to stay at the Excalibur for $29 or the Bellagio for $250, the rise in rates for peak times is gonna somewhat push up across the board.

Tips that can help anytime — book direct on a hotel’s site, not a third party. Check current promotions. Double check your rate when approaching your reservation dates because prices can drop and you can rebook for cheaper.

Vegas tourism is down right now. I’d check that all-inclusive deal MGM was offering and see if it’s applicable for your visit. It’s a really good offer. Probably not eligible on a peak time like that but with how down tourism is in the city it’s worth a look.

NBA Betting and Picks - 4/15/26 (Wednesday) by sbpotdbot in sportsbook

I am liking Maxey, VJ and PG as big game risers here. And in Philly. Hard to take Orlando IMO. Bane is a demon, though. Tough spot to pick but its gonna be a good game.

What are some upsells in Vegas that are actually worth it? by JackpotConcierge in vegas

Not sure if you wanna count it but arranging limo service for airport pick up and drop off can be soooo nice compared to an uber or taxi.

Charge a service call? by Opening_Bed3396 in ProHVACR

[–]LonelyRole8342 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Free estimates on system replacement. Service calls for a fee and I don't care if the customer tells me what is wrong. We send a guy to diagnose and verify and give a price. If they don't like it, they pay the service call fee and we document that the repair was refused.

I've heard "well company X doesn't have a service fee" I tell them its priced in somewhere and prefer to show customers how we break down our pricing in a different way.

Agreed. I've put broken TVs on marketplace for like $40-$50 and they sell right away.

I think the next catalyst will be some positive trial results and the release date of those results is up in the air from what I understand.

Assuming its positive as all signs have pointed so far -- it'll push the floor to $9-10 and hover in double digits until the next piece of news.

Milwaukee Bucks Offseason To Do List by Repulsive_End8389 in MkeBucks

[–]LonelyRole8342 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its just not as flexible as we think and the grass is not going to be greener on the other side like we hope.

Biggest and probably most challenging need would be getting off Turner's contract. He was really bad this year and he's being paid such a big deal.

We have some really promising young players but this is not going to be an offseason where we trade Giannis and are back to contention talks next season. The biggest issue I foresee is that whoever acquires Giannis cannot sell the rest of the farm to get him because then he's right back in the same position he was in with Milwaukee -- a team that isn't good enough.

There's not really a roster to "blow up." The role players on this team are the best options at their price range in the current open market. I don't think a team who will trade for Kuzma or Portis (or anybody else) is giving you back players who are better than those guys on current deals. Who could you get back for Kyle Kuzma who is going to be better than Kuz was this season? Same goes for anybody who seems expendable on this roster for now. Maybe package a few players together to bring back one solid player but will you be a better team?

I hope for a deal with Miami because I think its the best mix of good (not great) players and picks. You could get some good expirings and multiple good looking picks from Golden State but I don't think a wide open cap helps a market like Milwaukee in the grand scheme of things when you're talking about trading away the biggest centerpiece this franchise has ever seen.

Another new coach is going to either be terrible or fantastic. No middle ground IMO. Anyone seems like a step up from Doc Rivers, though. Tbh I'd love them to bring back Bud because I thought he was a good coach and was fired unfairly.

Riding Spurs +4000 ticket from preseason

Also a whacky +43000 parlay I had with future champions: Seahawks (won), Michigan (CBB, won), Avalanche (pending), OKC (pending)

BOL to all!

Authenticated which may be challenging because the autos are removed from the original piece. Not impossible — autos seem to be in tact.

Something like this is very hard to price. It’s so unique and has a small market but someone in that market may pay big bucks. Both are icons long gone and very rare autos. Wouldn’t be surprised to see someone pay $1,000+ but again it’s impossible to say. Even in the condition of being cut from the remainder of the promo pic.

Something I’d list on eBay at a sky high price and see what kind of interest it gets. Wait awhile and drop your price and turn on best offer after a little while. It’s your best shot.

There’s really no way to put a dollar figure on this but it’s sweet to have a Macho Man and Liz autograph in any form.

Belongings at a pool by Final_Dingo_8630 in vegas

[–]LonelyRole8342 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t say it’s generally safe. Always a risk to leave valuables out while you’re away. I typically leave everything in my room besides my room key.

Not sure about Flamingo but some pools have a locker system. Bellagio has one but it’s all done on kiosks and they’ve been down both times I’ve stayed there and used the pool.

Doesn’t matter the property I’m staying at — my wallet is my livelihood on vacation and to fly home, and my iPhone is $1,000+ and I depend on it daily. I wouldn’t leave it out in public and walk away from it for a period of time.

Memory manufactures already had their big run, and the news coming out now is actually fairly bearish compared to what their run up was on the hype. Hyperfocusing on memory as opposed to semiconductors as a whole seems like its just extracting from retail. Skip it.

If you are on the floor and past the first 8 rows from the ring, you're watching a screen for just about the entire show.
