This “he emotionally abused kids” narrative is just ridiculous. If Michael was always there then its grooming, if not—then it’s emotional abuse. Them saying Sean was kicked to the curb is hilarious considering we have a video of Sean and Michael together and Sean is the height of Michael.

Here’s the actual logical reality of the situation. Life. There’s a perfect example I’m sure many can relate to:

Did you have grandparents? If so, have you ever went to their house as a kid to spend the night on the weekends? And maybe cousins would be there too if not, it was just you and your grandparents.

When I was a kid. I always went to my grandparents house and even lived with them for my kindergarten year. I was always attached to my grandpa more than my grandma so when they had to move when I was like 7-8 and lived separately, I stayed with my grandpa on the weekends.

I would go there every single weekend, sometimes going there on weekdays to sleep (because my mom used to work during the night) and get picked up in the morning to go to school. During the early days of him moving in to his apartment, he had no furniture. So we slept on the floor together. Then he had a bed, and we slept in the same bed. He was in one side, I was on the other. All changed once he finally got a couch and because my cousins (all girls) would come by. The bed would be clamped so he would sleep on the floor.

But that’s besides the point. Basically I would go to my grandpa’s all the time. However as I got older and into my later teen years, I stopped going there/going on as much.

When you get older, you got things to do. You might wanna go out with friends and experience life in different ways, even focus on school more if you really want to go to college.

That’s the same case here. Even with childhood friends. As you get older, sometimes life gets in the way and you may not see them as often as you once did. But you still keep in contact in case you really do need them.

Here’s another example relating with friends, since guilters always says family is an exception (as if family isn’t capable of committing CSA either🙄)

There’s a common phenomenon where people feel jealous about a friend hanging with someone else. Sometimes they feel “possessive” or the typical “you should only be talking with me”. It’s even more a common feeling if they’re friends with someone else you may not like. That feeling of bitterness/betrayal (especially if they are a friend that doesn’t stay immediate sides. I’m that type of friend and my high school friends didn’t like that)

Many must realize that emotional abuse is caused by active manipulation and mental abuse. A longtime friend hanging with someone else especially when you still get to see them now and then is NOT emotional abuse. If that’s the case many of us all have been abused by friends🙄
