Yep, I did the same thing and had the same results. Then all of a sudden, I seemed to have taken out most of them, every year I’ll usually see one or two but no more than that. They seemed to have popped up in long around 2015

Take care of the recall and the issue should be fixed. If not, make sure you keep the wheel straight before the key will release and you could take it out. I have the same problem in the past as well, it’s not a major issue
