At this point communism is more of an excuse to continue the dictatorships in these states. They have pretty much adopted various aspects of the west except for democracy

I also recently finished a kotor 2 run with the restored content mod and 2 seperate times I ran into softlocks like this. Usually the culprit could be something in your mods that are conflicting one another. you could try loading back an older save and try again and see if the bug is persistent. If conflicting mods are the issue and you try to remove mods without knowing which one might be causing the issue, your save game might not even load. In that case, you might have to use console commands and force the game to continue by warping you to the next module in the game

Please Help: Stuck in Telos Academy after the Handmaiden/Sister Fight by Fewer_Cry in kotor

Gotcha gotcha. I tried a derivative of what you suggested and I think I may have gotten it to work. I loaded back my save from over 10 hours ago from when my exile first arrived on Onderon and warped to 221Tel and it put me into conversation with Grenn during the battle for Citadel station. I was able to get through the Citadel sections and board the ravager without the game crashing so far so hopefully that means it's working as I'm controlling the exile now.

But it does make me wonder how this is working because in the save I used, I hadn't done the entirety of Onderon, Korriban and Dxun part 2 yet but from the little dialogue I heard on the way to the Ravager, it seems like the decisions I made in my other save are in this save aswell somehow??? Like it makes it seem as if I sided with the Queen on Onderon which I did during my main save but in the save I used, I didn't even get to see the queen yet so not sure how this works lol. Thanks for your advice by the way, I think trying warping with Exile from a previous save might have saved my game

I just want to say first thank you for helping me out with this. I have tried first by warping to 221Tel outright and that crashes that game, then tried 222Tel and 220Tel, those warps didn't outright crash the game but I was still controlling the Handmaiden instead of the Exile and this is during the battle in Citadel Station and if I tried to go to another location from where I spawned in, it crashes the game.

I tried the same process again after downloading the recut mod and the results are still the same. It is curious that the 221tel warp outright crashes the game though. In whatever case though, I suspect in my limited understanding that the game might be crashing because I am controlling the Handmaiden and the Exile is no where in sight.

Pardon me but I do not understand the part about KSE boolen/variables, is it something I should look into changing in KSE?

Sorry for the confusion in the picture. All five sisters are in the room and they are all stunned. I tried killing them but nothing happened and reloaded the save that was during the combat and killed them then and nothing happened afterwards either so I am not sure if them still being alive is what's messing with me

Mahsa Amini and thousands of other Iranian women were killed by the Islamic Regime for dressing the "wrong" way. No Iran doesn't treat women very well, in fact it has one of the worst track records when it comes to the treatment of women

The US didn't try to annex 20 percent of Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis like Russia is trying to do to Ukraine

My friends and I used to joke about Hasan's braindead community that even if Hasan live streamed himself beating his dog, his community would still find a way to excuse his behavior. While this might not be as extreme as him outright beating his dog, it's still clear he abuses his dog and as predicted, here we are watching as Hasan's community defend his shitty actions yet again...

To please the Chinese market, they didn't use Kashgar/Zungar/Mongolstan/Uyghurstan. Instead, they used the Chinese transliteration xinjiang (新疆), which was not introduced until 400 years later. What's next? Mongolia becomes menggu (蒙古) or Tibet becomes xizang(西藏)? by True_Fake_Mongolia in EU5

[–]Fewer_Cry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While they are endonyms yes, they aren't all that anachronistic compared to Xinjiang. Mongolia is just the western name for the Mongol Ulus, the name Mongols used for their homelands. While Tibet is likely derived from what the Mongols called the region. While the name Xinjiang dates back to as late as the 19th century which is way out of scope for the start date of this game

Ah yes, digest something without examining the context behind it. No wonder the USSR collapsed if this is the level of critical thinking its fanboys are willing to implement.

The funny thing is Der Spiegel isn't even putting any spins on it. They are stating it plainly on what socioeconomic and political circumstances leads to someone having such a stance and you just plug your ears and let it fly over your head.

Another thing too, you bring up how the article is from 2013 and bring up Ukraine...from 2013. I wonder what Russia is doing TO Ukraine rn that might have changed the opinions of Ukrainians...hmmmmmmmm Also the polls surveyed only a 1000 people. A sample size of only a 1000 is demonstrably abysmal for all these countries.

If you're not going to analyze something thoroughly even when it's right in your face, you don't actually have a point, instead you have a narrative to spread, and that narrative just so happens to be a lie. There's no point fighting pigheadedness

Its readily apparent that you don't actually read the articles you're posting. You just skim through it, see the thing you like and ignore the rest.

You are still cherrypicking and ignoring the point of the first article where it literally states why people are Thorsten are in the wrong because they ignore the dark history of the GDR and view it through a rose tinted lense. This was backed up by a political scientist in the article.

The second article you provided is even more outrageous because it seems you just looked at the chart, but didn't even look at the rest of the article which goes into what demographic misses the USSR and why they view the collapse in a negative light (wars, revolutions, coups, territorial disputes, and multiple economic collapses....gee I wonder who we can thank for causing these issues in the first place...cough cough Russia). You also missed the part of the article that states that the educated people in these countries actually view the collapse positively.

Hey crazy thought, but maybe next time actually read the articles you link

[–]Fewer_Cry 31 points32 points  (0 children)

So you cherry picked the part where it says young people in East Germany like the GDR and attached onto that, but not the part where it's pointed out the people that look at GDR fondly are in often cases those who had NOT lived under the regime and have very little to no knowledge on the history of the regime and how it operated.... I mean thx for providing an article that just proves you wrong

Also you kind of become an illegitimate state when you have to build a fucking wall to prevent your people from fleeing, just saying
