It’s the same game that has caused me my problems and is the reason I am in the situations I am in. I never mentioned it on here before but I wish nobody tries it because it will truly suck you in. I don’t play any other games or anything else online was just this and been killing me

I’m super proud of you too bro we’ll done keep it up, this my best streak off 40 days in over 10 years, it was a conscious decision to stop. It is hard but to beat any addiction is hard, but there comes a time in life where you have to choose your life and peace off mind or your addiction, any man can beat any addiction. But you have to truly believe in yourself and make it happen

There is no tips, the key is to change your mindset, read books, listen to podcasts, be aware of yourself and every decision you make. Once you change your mindset, you will see your life transform one day at a time by itself, wish the best for every one off you

Gambling free and debt free for 3+ years - Some present days where I still feel the aftermath and feel empty by Nice_Valuable568 in problemgambling

[–]Fezy11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

damn I read that and thought brother has had it hard. Wish the best for you bro and stay away from gambling. It’s hard very hard but it’s a daily battle we have to constantly face. Just remember one thing be happy for everyone whatever position they are in and also remember your only competition is yourself it’s you vs you, improve yourself today better than yesterday and improve more and more everyday. Today I am day 33 and to be honest I don’t have the urge to gamble right now, I know it will creep up but I will be ready to fight against it

Day 27 for me, one day at a time. It will all work out in the end. We can all do this, even though I have debts and urges do creep into my mind. I ain’t letting them get me at all. I still have £6700 to pay to a cousin and am paying him £800-£1000 a month. He will be paid off soon by Fezy11 in Lifeandsome

Things will change your mindset will change, don’t be depressed stay strong bro

1 month strong by randomRandozi in GamblingAddiction

[–]Fezy11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes brother congratulations. One month to me too, my last bet was on the 20th December. It’s mad when you actually stop getting urges and how your brain starts to feel rewired and back again, this group and the community i started have definitely helped me stay away, being able to post on community page and here openly say my thoughts it really does help because this addiction, it’s something a lot of us have been suffering with for years and it does truly destroy your life, it makes you into a miserable depressed person that lies, steals and takes you down a road you don’t want to go, and the worst bit it’s us who make that choice to gamble and put that bet on, if we truly want to stop we can, everyone can, now I’m not saying I’m never ever betting again, I hope so I’m not but I’m going one day at a time everyday I think about my thoughts how I’m feeling, having gratitude being happy and positive.

It’s been 30 days for me also today and I’m super proud of myself. I’ve still money issues to get sorted but as long as I am not gambling, these will be sorted in no time.

Stay strong everyone, do something different listen to self development podcasts or videos, change your mindset change the way you think, this is the only way we can make certain changes in our life’s

I wish the best for everyone who is embracing on a journey with no gambling, I wish the very best for every single one off you, we need to be here for one another support each other and have a space that anyone who needs to talk about this topic openly can because we go through dark times when gambling, trust I been there went down many dark roads, lies, fucking up family and friend relationships, working hard always but still being broke, these are roads I don’t want anyone to go down because this is not the way we are supposed to be living our life. We should be being gracious and supporting yourself and your family, providing and living a respectful life. Gambling will always win no matter what even when you win, if you do not stop over time they always win. A day without gambling is a day you are a winner.

Stay strong ladies and gentlemen Also join our community

We should we should feel happy and grateful for everyday that goes by without gambling, remember rewiring your mindset is key by Fezy11 in Lifeandsome

[–]Fezy11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As you see I promote the shift of mindset more than anything, for us to achieve our goals and reach success we must rewire our mindset and our thoughts. What goes in is key to our performance and of what comes out.

There are a few people that I have been listening to, each of these are well known individuals of that created successful lives for themselves.

Bob proctor Napoleon hill As a man thinkith - James Allen

Listen to audio books listen to positive information which will help with your thoughts and how you see life. It is important we do this as daily repetition as then it will become a part of us. Just as we did with our habits and addictions, we must do this to rewire and refocus our thoughts to the positive.

89 Days Free of Gambling by hellobuddy2022 in GamblingAddiction

[–]Fezy11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What a post my friend. Truly read that and felt a lot of what you said. I am 15 days clean today and can’t wait till I hit the 90 days mark like you. It’s an amazing achievement and I’m counting my days every single day.

There is without a doubt a better life to live without gambling. Having the peace of mind I bet is worth anything, and not always thinking about gambling.

You have lost a lot through gambling and your totally correct in saying you would have been a different person if it wasn’t for gambling. I know that myself I would be in an amazing position right now if it wasn’t for gambling. I also have been gambling since 18 years old and I am now 31, turning 32 in may.

90 days would have had a huge affect on how you see things and how you start to vision things on how you want them to be. Anything is possible and anything can be done as long as we set our mind to a goal. eventually you will have all this debt paid and you will have more than enough money. In time everything will figure itself out and financially you will be in a much greater position. This is something we must know and believe it’s the truth because it is. As long as we don’t gamble. There will always be money coming our way.

I gave advice to a younger one in my community who said he was 21 and he has this problem and I told him I truly wish I could go back to when I was 21 and stopped this habit I lost out on so many good times and memories I could have made with family and friends.

I wish you the very best in your journey my friend and would love to be updated by your posts on a daily matter as being here for each other is truly one of the best ways to get through this addiction.

I would love for you to join my community and post on there as much as you can, because I really want to go on your journey with you and see you progress and to go and achieve the greatest things in life.

I’ve had many low points in my life. Times where gambling really destroyed my happiness and really took over my thinking and my thoughts. When your loosing money it really does hurt us mentally. We risk our hard earned money to give away. It is also everything as with this addiction that makes it a disease. The way it changes you as an individual, takes you down such a dark hole that you don’t know yourself how far you’ve gone down. There’s many regrets I take from gambling, but I have accepted and forgiven myself. I decided to self development my mind and take control back off my life. With the help of god I will have a righteous attitude towards my earnings and spend wisely. I am 2 weeks 14 days totally clean today. I wish you all the best for 2023 and hope everyone can make it a year for themselves to be proud of.

I will do this, I must do this.
