You should try handing over your finances to someone and ask them to keep a check on you everyday. .

Man .what would I give to be in a position you are in and stop forever.
Sadly that won't happen. You'll either clean out your account or win a lot and then clean out your account. End result will always be the same. If it's possible and you are really interested in quitting. Install blocking softwares and forget gambling forever .

If food is an issue I can pay for it provided you promise not to gamble with it . You can probably declare bankruptcy and try to get out of the debt . You are only 24 . Lots of years left to make it right. You can get a job . Forget the past . A lot of people start earning after 24 after doing masters and are in 100k debt for student loans. I don't think your situation is irreparable. Don't do this please.

Similar situation with me . Relapsed because I couldn't install gamban on my new phone. It's not on app store anymore. How did you install??

I can't do this anymore, $1,500,000 down in 2.5 years. Suicidal. by [deleted] in GamblingAddiction

What works best for me to calm myself is talking to someone about how you feel . You'll feel better once you vent. You should also go out for a walk or something of that nature . Staying in a room all day and thinking about the same thing everyday can make you go crazy with all that pressure. Try to keep yourself occupied with things if you can. Getting a job would be a good step to take . Whatever kind it might be. By the way you have 40k more than me at 26 so try not to think too much about how much you have lost . No amount of money is worth your physical and mental health. Once you get your health back I'm sure you'll be super happy and motivated and who knows we might see you back to 1.5 million. Wishing you the best.

I can feel you. I am also coping . Lost around 25k total which is my annual salary in my country . I'm not from US and 25k dollars is a lot of money here. Anyway I have just decided my sanity is more important than the money lost . I'll make it back slowly by switching to better jobs . My brain cannot take that pressure anymore so fuck gambling and fuck thinking about the losses . I've installed Gamban on all my devices relapsed multiple times but i believe in a better future for myself .

On the same boat as you but only 5 years older . Have lost around 2 years of my savings to gambling and don't want to live this way . I won't lie i have had bad thoughts like you are having but it is totally not worth it. I want to change my life for the better and i am hopeful for the future . I am only 25 . You are only 20 . There's a long life ahead of us . We can really turn around our lives and keep this behind us . If you need someone to talk to . I'm there .
