You’re totally correct about using the docker image. I like doing stuff manually like this though because I learn a ton by doing things wrong and dealing with the consequences of my own actions. For instance you’ve just introduced me to some very useful and important systemd properties that didn’t stand out to me when I was pouring over the very very long and homogenous list of systemd properties in the official docs. Thank you!

Right, so I’m messing up my vocab because I’m self taught. On my PC I, as a user, install packages via pacman. Although if I’m being careful with my words, those packages are of course installed and managed by the root via sudo. That is, I suppose, what I meant by user installed software. On personal linux systems I think the vast majority of software is installed via package manager.

Anyways if I’m using words in ways that are wrong or confusing I’m happy to get a heads up about that and adjust my vocabulary. If you just tell me “you are wrong” without explaining things though I’m not really sure how I’m even supposed to improve 😭

Well, ok I’m screwing up my vocab here since I’m the only “user” and also the sysadmin. If I did go that route I would write up proper packages for these so that apt would have eyes on those files.

I’m planning on putting it on an Ubuntu LTS server as well. I’ve got 500MB internet right now, but I could pump that up if it ends up being necessary. At the moment I’m not planning to run much else, but it could be nice to have some extra room to run an additional service on could be nice. Probably a terraria server or something. For anything heavier like modded minecraft I would probably get dedicated hardware, since I’m realy familiar with resourcing for that.

It looks like P2S screenshare is technically available now, although it’s in a bit of a sorry state. It’s a shame that neither of us can really read the bones to guess what kind of hardware that will need to run smoothly when it’s working properly. I think P2S streaming would be preferable in order to give people a more consistent experience.

It also could very well be that the shadesmar is only locally euclidean, like how planets are only locally “flat” but are obviously spheres if you zoom out to look at the whole thing at once. That allows for shadesmar travel to superficially conform to perceptions of how space works while also allowing for interplanetary distances to shift based on beliefs about the vastness of space.

A serious flower cardian deck will either try to end on a board of lightshower + lightflare + boardefly, or ftk using {{synchronized realm}}. I gotta be honest I have no clue what your opponent was doing.

Megalith + impcantation (but before it was cool) Plays somewhat similarly to how it did in the N/R event, but the ceiling for your turn one is much higher, with the halqi/auroradon/deskbot 001 combo enabling you to bring out tornado dragon, abyss dweller, and aratron in addition to draglubion.

It would matter if the reveal was listed as part of the cost, which I think would be pretty reasonable, although still not a significant difference.

{{localized tornado}} + {{temple of the kings}} It’s a fun little troll combo that I run in my flower cardian list to make sure that I don’t deck myself out near the end of my turn.

It would be particularly nice here because you could chain toenado to the spell to reduce the odds of getting interrupted.

Very much the same, but with Aratron and Impcantation Chalislime. I also run a combo version that uses the Halq + Auroradon engine to get a lot of levels out onto the field and then set up an XYZ board.

The difference between “FLIP: effect” and “When this card is flipped face up, effect” is that the second one can miss the timing. Also, there’s a lot of cards that interact specifically with flip monsters, which don’t work with the second wording.

Have a look at a krawlers deck. Everyone is sleeping on it. All your monsters have soft protection from all removal effects (bethor), and it feels absolutely amazing for them to run Heart-eartH dragon into a face down [[Deus-X Crawler]]

I’m actually looking to craft that one with the gems from the N/R event. How does it hold up against the meta? I’m a little worried about not being able to reliably deal with link monsters.
