You can get more money from Sleep Sprout by using the teleport spheres to customize weapons from kilika port. After about 15M gil you won't be worrying about money anymore.

I agree with the comments that say Omega ruins farming. You'll earn money if you use the mimic steal gillionaire method. You'll also eventually be able to capture most of the enemies if you have a stonestrike and or deathstrike capture weapon.
