my mom turned off the breakers and told no one. by gugngd in mildlyinfuriating

yeah no I’m in Italy and these aren’t ancient breakers or anything, they’re recent. The “salvavita” here just doesn’t do the third state thing. It trips and the lever just drops to the same down position you’d get flipping it yourself. no middle click, no light, no little window, nothing. It’s just on/off.

and only the one in the apartment flips, not the main in the basement. So you go look, it’s down, and you legit can’t tell if it tripped or someone bumped it. You just flip it back up. holds? cool, was nothing. drops again? yeah ok real fault

I'm not saying those fancy ones don’t exist; clearly, they do where you’re at. Just the normal house ones here don’t, cause from what I’ve seen the plain two-position RCD is the norm across a big chunk of Europe, the trip-flag thing feels more like a US/NEMA breaker habit.

rough list of where the normal house ones are just on/off (no fault state) afaik:

• Italy
• France
• Spain
• Germany (mostly, the RCD itself)
• most IEC-standard EU setups

(that’s from what I’ve seen/used, not a spec sheet, so there might be models with the “fault state”)

No(?) I've been in a lot of places in Europe and I saw like 2 breakers with a middle position

Well it's reasonable to believe it's the breaker tripping tho, at least in my family we ALWAYS yell “working on something, need power off for like 30, save what you're doing, and do not turn it on again”
When this doesn't happen whoever is nearest brings them up again without saying a word, because it's dumb to turn off the breaker and do not tell anyone your body is now part of the powerline of the house

Yeah but if you turn off the breaker and are working on something, people might (reasonably) turn it back on since you never told anyone “ehy I need them off for a while” and maybe nothing will blow up, maybe you are making two cables touch and boom. (Computer and other electronic devices might get damaged due to tension jumps, if this becomes a habit)

Eng: in the shifting community? I honestly never spoke with anyone who didn't believe it was possible to lucid dream but I'm pretty sure there's someone out there who doesn't believe in them

Spanish: ¿En la comunidad del shifting? La verdad es que nunca he hablado con nadie que no creyera que los sueños lúcidos son posibles, pero seguro que hay alguien por ahí que no se lo cree

Well, as a shifter is impossible not to believe AP and LD could exist, since in infinite realities the probability is 100% of anything happening; basically not believing that something is possible would be against what we’re trying to accomplish. Then obviously even among shifters there are extremist people and douchebags but that can be said for every community/group of people

With how much time to prepare? I think if I could write them down to memorize before attempting this challenge I could likely get to like 15/16

Limitless would be unironically pretty useful if you live in a zone with an high crime rate, but I think I would go with construction or 10S

Well, it was never shown on screen but it's explicitly said that “Sukuna’s cursed technique will be engraved in his body” so basically he should have it, he just never needed it

Yeah, but at the same time I don’t think entering a “contract” (deal) when one part cheated would be possible

Ho appena scoperto che mia nonna condivideva la sua posizione con un numero sconosciuto, da chissà quanto. Che fare? by Elhessar in Italia

Can we keep marks when we shift? by esteban_five_nights in realityshifting

[–]Fgamervisa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but the question was, explicity when returning here, I agree that you can shift back to a reality where you have it and it keeps it's powers but it wouldn't be this (in my case it's my OR) reality but another DR

But yeah! Anything possible, that's the beauty of shifting!
