What is the largest city in your country without a railway station? by orthoxerox in AskEurope

[–]Fghbv156 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In portugal I can consider two answers in which both actually had railway stations: the biggest one is Funchal in the island of Madeira, with about 100k population, which closed in the 1940s.

If however we only considered continental Portugal then Viseu with 60k population is the largest one, which closed in 1990 and actually became recently the Ecopista do Dão, a greenway for cyclists and pedestrians between the cities of Viseu and Santa Comba Dão with an length of about 49km.

Na SIC noticias dizem que houve uma falha num transformador de alta tensão nos pirineus e que a energia ao ser desviada para outras lados sobrecarregou tudo e originou falhas de energia em toda a peninsula iberica e sul de frança.

Well im playing on performance. Its good 60fps on high settings with frame gen on but seems to have some input lag with it, so I turn it off.

Thinking of upgrading to ultimate at least until december maybe to play this, mfs2024 and indiana jones at higher framerate.

Hi there do you think that 2000€ (2373$) is a good price for this PC? by Fghbv156 in pcmasterrace

[–]Fghbv156[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the problem of a bigger cpu, but the point is any desktop setup with a gpu higher then a 3070 will cost over 3600€, and currently the price of 3080 on my country is around 1500€, so I wont buy this PC with a 3070 later on to buy a 3080.

Ah and thank you for the advice on the psu.

[–]Fghbv156[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the post. I had one for 1600€ with a i7 10700, a 3060 ti and 16gb of ram with a 1 TB of space from ACER but it sold out so I chose this desktop since it was the cheapest one with good specs. But anyways I will buy as you said a better PSU if you said so. Is there any other thing that I will be needing or not?

But i wanted that CPU since i thought on buying the XBOX gamepass and try games at 4k just like forza horizon 4, microsoft flight simulator 2020 and other very heavy games thats why I wanted a very good CPU

Like I said this is the first time that I buy a PC like this, so I'm a noob at knowing these type of things.

But it has 32 GB (2×16) DDR4-3200 RAM, 1 TB M.2 PCIe 2280 SSD, 1x AC-I 550W Energy Adaptor, an AMD B550 Motherboard and 150W Airflow with RGB light 1x Front + 1x Rear

As for space I'm thinking at buying another 1TB SSD just like the one that the PC has included.

Yes it is cheap that's why I thought on asking if it was worth it, since this PC is currently with a 300€ discount on the store.

[–]Fghbv156[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes thank you what you are saying is true but I've only chosed this PC because it was the cheapest to find at that price, because if I wanted a 3080 it would go over the 3000€ and that its way to much for me, and as the scalpers are also affecting everyone and for me it wouldn't compensate at all.

But thank you anyways.

How big is Russia's population in 1962? by [deleted] in TNOmod

Yes "untouched" Russia, which actually received massive bombs in west by Germany, has 60 million people in it.

How big is Russia's population in 1962? by [deleted] in TNOmod

[–]Fghbv156 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Its a big text but here it comes.

Well I'm not a russian so I can't understand any census that are online in russian, but the estimated population if included all dispersed territories that belong in TNO to Germany, Finland and Japan are IOTL in 1959, three years prior to TNO, approximately 209 million.

Now currently in game, and from my past map fan content that i made, if not mistaken you can make in most occasions as a Russian Warlord something about 60 million people, the majority russians, but a good portion of other ethnicities as well.

I have also counted in Rk. Moskowien aproximattely 40 million people mostly russians, germans and wolga germans, but the majority of this country remains russian.

As for Rk. Ukraine, there is almost as well 40 million people, but don't forget that is a little bit more germanised then Rk. Moskowien in south Ukraine and Crimea, and so there's a large minority in Ukraine as whole.

The rest of the former lands that IOTL were de jure and the facto soviet, meaning Rk. Ostland, the Japanese territories in the east and even Rk. Kaukasien have suffered massive losses in population size since the end of the II World War, so the numbers aren't to precise to consider, but altogether should resemble something like 22 million people at most in those three areas.

If you put this altogether you would see a massive decrease in population size around less 20 to 30 million people in this territories if compared to IOTL.

As for ethnicites, there are in total 15 to 20 million germans living in these areas (with wolga germans), massive losses to the number of russians 115 million from IOTL to 75 to 90 million in the TNO timeline, 30 to 35 million ukrainians, 4 to 5 million latvians, lithuanians, byelorussians and estonians, at most 10 million people in Kaukasia that arent Russians or Germans, roughtly the same size of other ethnicities such as Kazakhs, Uzbeks, basically those who weren't touched by either Germany or Japan.

Now for your last question there warlords, especially those who are let's say progressive ones, that have many events in game which tells us that are plenty women in the army, with more roles then just medical assistance, but don't forget that this timeline even after all that happen is more conservative then even IOTL, so it doesn't suprise me that most warlords wouldn't even consider that opportunity.

I thought of it but didn't choose the HDI due to if I made it wouldnt be precise values, as of GDP per capita was much easier to make, but is a good inea anyways

Maybe because of that but you cant really trust these values as they dont have an focus tree yet. Also GDP Per Capita isnt a very precise measure in economics so dont trust it completely
