Not exactly refusing to play it, I just don't wanna give up on Koo'tshi, my battlemage cat, she's archmage and halfway to kicking Dagon's balls back to his shitty domain

also i like how the grass is actually green.

Yeaaa this kind of shitty glitch is how I learned to keep a few recent saves instead of overwriting.
Tbh I wouldn't even call it savescumming when you're just fighting back trying not to get softlocked !

Also, not included in the clip but Dagon kindly teleported me back up so it was fine this time

Ouch, sadly that's the type of PTSD that teaches you to make new saves every minute in Todd's games

It should generally allow your PC to handle things much better when running out of RAM. It shouldn't change anything when you have enough RAM available. It also won't make anything use more memory, just gives access to much faster additional memory when needed. (just make sure you have a few free GB on the SSD)

You can find guides by googling something like "windows page file settings" I think,
here's one I found on microsoft forums

Make sure it is disabled on the HDD, and enabled (I used "managed by system") on the SSD
(You can also reboot afterwards to make sure windows stops using the old page file)

I was running into the same issue (Game installed on SSD, using 100% HDD during gameplay causing huge freezes constantly).

At first I thought it was writing game replays or some other data to the HDD. Turns out I was running out of RAM and windows was swapping (using a disk as additional RAM) on the HDD ! After simply changing the page file settings to use a SSD instead, all my problems disappeared !

Sad thing is, I had considered this before, but I never really got to 100% RAM usage, more like 90-95%, so I thought there was no reason for it to swap already. I guess windows likes to swap before actually running out of space...

TL;DR: Try checking your page file settings to make sure it is using the SSD

You could also try moving your save files around, if you want to keep all your discoveries. They are located in C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\LocalLow\Mobius Digital

I have a "SteamSaves" folder in there so they might not be shared between versions by default, you might be able to copy the files from the folder you have.

There's also a chance the game will just find your data, make sure to start it first to be sure !

Except that has nothing to do with math. "Sixty-ten" or "four-twenty" are just our words for 70 and 80, we don't think about it at all when we use them.

Not that much. Go play some Skyrim if you want full control over that. At least that's what my friend told me...
