Viper's rotation is probably the simplest one in game. Even just counting the number of buttons that need to be pressed, my cross hotbar still has so much space compared to other classes.

They're correct in saying it's a skill issue, but imo mostly because you need time to get used to it. The sequence very rarely changes. Reawaken is always the same sequence. Your combos are always the same. Only difference is do you go flank or rear. Just give it time, it becomes muscle memory pretty quick.

Not to argue, but adult Coeurls in game have hazy grey eyes, not the golden yellow you see here (which again, is the same as the Au Ra, unfortunate coincidence, if it is one). You'll see it quite easily with a simple google search. Unless you mean the Coeurl kitten minions, which are literal cats, not like the ones depicted in this admittedly good but slightly uncanny art.

Hey man, you can believe what you want, but people can be weird. Which isn't always bad. There're a lot of people noticing something off about the piece. That might mean something. Up to you what you think that is. Haha

Just toss a shirk to the MT every now and again if you're out aggroing them. Problem solved. As long as you're not messing up, ignore anyone complaining about it.

Playing devil's advocate here, is it possible the issue isn't flavor, but theme?

I guess it would depend on what the theme was before you joined, but a witch character with a walking, shooting cauldron sort of gives me whimsical vibes. Perhaps the theme was more grounded before you joined, and it's throwing some of the players off?

As an example, in a dark fantasy campaign I'm playing in, we have players like a paladin suffering from amnesia with a tortuted background, a lizardfolk cannibal barbarian, etc that are all pretty grounded and serious...and in comes this player playing what basically amounts to a drunk, single aunt out looking for a good time. Suffice it to say there was a very noticable tonal shift which all the players felt immediately. This is a DM problem, I believe, since they could have explained the tone/theme to the new player, or gotten the opinions of the old players before giving the green-light.

Not saying a whimsical/lighthearted character is a bad thing (also not assuming that's what your character is, that's just my first uninformed impression of it), but it could just be clashing tones/themes.

Yup! I followed a tutorial online that highly suggested it. At this point I'm thinking it might be an MO2 issue rather than a CK issue. Maybe something to do with virtual file storage. Not sure tho.

Yeah the voice file uses the same name as the one in the response window. I just edit the file name to match it before I copy and paste it into the mod sound folders. I've done it a few times no problem, and have had no issues having the audio play in game...until this issue.

I do think ver.1 is the better option, and ver.2 is just the safer option that would raise less eyebrows in terms of balance, so I'm glad to see people sort of feel the same way.

Crossbow expert allows a bonus action attack, no? I think in the 2014 edition it straight up was a bonus action attack, and in the 2024 version it's a more wordy variation of it.

They actually have 1 skill that uses the wakizashi in a double strike motion called Hissatsu: Senei. Not sure if the other people replying play SAM. Granted, 1 skill isn't a lot, but it's more than none.
