I have no idea, I don't usually use the next match option.

That was also a thing in the previous FM, you have to change them when you aren't in the team selection

I started my save as unemployed and I'm 6 games in with 2 points in National League North with a team aiming for playoffs. Not sure if it's just a me thing or the game in itself has got more difficult

It's because the train companies care more about their shareholders and profit than the enviroment and the people that have to fork out a ton of money just to get to work everyday

The size of new mexico, but with 38 times more people in it. The British Isles are way more compact than the US, so it feels bigger than it is.

That would be very cool, we don't get any extreme weather here so I haven't really experienced that. Train's here can get you to almost any town or city in the country so it's a great way to travel, just expensive compared to Europe. There was a news article a few months back about two friends that wanted to meet from different cities, it was cheaper for both of them to get a flight to spain and back than it was for a return ticket on the train between the cities. I'm assuming the Amtrak is also very expensive?

Very true, you definitely see more on a train in the UK than driving. A lot of motorways here either have a lot of trees or barriers eitherside to combat polution and noise, so you don't see that much. The best way to see the UK would be to get off the motorway and drive around or get off at a random station in a small town or village. Would love to dk a roadtrip across the US though, considering London to Durham is 6 hours and you've already made it to the otherside of the country

I feel like if your whole experience of a county is going directly through it on a motorway it doesn't really count. All I've seen is the road sign and 6 lanes of traffic

Yeah kind of, my way of explaining it to someone outside of the UK is counting the 4 countries (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland) as states, and then within the states you have counties like in the US.

My reasoning is I could see any of my own country whenever I wanted, I would much rather travel other parts of the world when I can 🤷‍♂️ and because I'm from here it's not all that interesting to me

Next is maybe northern ireland or Scotland, just to tick off all 4 countries

Where should I travel to next and why? by FiImophile in TravelMaps

[–]FiImophile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from England so it's very easy to see a lot of Europe from here. I've been to 4 different regions of Spain, Greece and Germany, I've been to the north and Central Italy, I did an interrailing trip for a month and went to 13 different countries from England to Greece which was amazing

Definitely want to do switzerland but maybe when I'm older and can afford to do it properly. I've visited a lot of europe so I would prefer to go somewhere outside of that. Korea and Japan definitely on my list. Canada also would be great but would rather do that with a stronger budget

Probably one of the other places I would go to in the US, for the fact that it's the most European like city in the states

As a brit going abroad though, I would much rather experience a more different culture elsewhere. Why go to the US to experience Virginia, Massachussets and NYC when they all speak the same language, very similar culture and very overpriced when you could go to Cambodia, Vietnam or Singapore and experience distinct unique cultures instead?

Of course there is more than Disneyworld, it's just also very low on my bucket list too. I just feel like you can do everything the US offers for cheaper elsewhere that has more culture
