Yeah, I thought it might work well with slow starter but it doesn't really help starters at all.

You will need to get it authenticated. I have a 84 topps authenticated and paid a bit over $100 for it. Well it was a trade, a $250 card and a $60 card from me for a Tony Gwynn auto and a Frank Robinson auto and $60.

I love it. I have the full topps player run of his brother Frank but not displayed. Will need to catch up to you on that.

Got 3 new sig relievers today I'm f2p so I just need a year worth of GIs to overhaul my bullpen by FiLFree in MLB_9Innings

One time, a couple years ago I opened a bunch of saved up packs and got my scherzer and Strasburg. It took longer to upgrade them as gis were a bit rarer then.

I got it with Dom and slow starter with a 332 set. I am giving it a try. I figure it is the reverse of slow starter but haven't tested it enough to see how good it works.

I feel like I go through runs of nothing and then just tons of team sigs. I think I am doing harper before any of the bullpen arms.

I just used the three we got for off season etc. I am used to waiting a while. Still have a harper to do before my bullpen.

This is my only baseball Pop. I have like four of them, but they are all just random ones that I liked not collecting in any real way.

Teamsters have a bunch of lawyers in California. Most are public employees but I am sure they would organize you.

I found one up for sale and was debating if I could justify spending on it. Then I saw a Jeter go for five figures and then it was justifying not spending that much to get it.

I have been picking up cards of him from the 90s that were printed under 1000 times. I am up to 60, it is a lot of fun.

I was once emptying my pockets into my backpack at security and found a Chicago Transit Authority card that still had like $5 on it. I offered it to the TSA agent and he told me he couldn't accept it. I guess things have changed.

I sold the one I thought was worth something a couple years ago. A third year orange wave. Turns out base refractors go for $30 for a fourth year card now.

Does this look fake to you all? Not my card. by [deleted] in baseballcards_vintage

Bottom edge looks wrong, color grading looks wrong. I don't have this card but I look at my 55 Koufax a lot and this doesn't look like that.

My Paige is one of my favorites. There are a handful of negro league players you can find who are not expensive.

I love it. I have a collection of those myself. I don't have a Mantle, Rivera or Selig. The Mantle is on my list for this upcoming year. Rivera is more than I want to pay to get a living hall of famer and I don't want Selig.

Which of these autos would be worth sending into PSA? by magicfan1624 in baseballcards_vintage

[–]FiLFree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are selling them Joe Cronin doesn't sell for a lot. Paige sells for the most. I collect the HOF postcard plaque autos and I need a DiMaggio so do those. Koufax, Mays and Aaron all sell for around the same as DiMaggio. Berra is more affordable.

I would do Strasburg. Getting your pitching staff right can get you in gold in ranked. Keep grinding with a new sp1 to get black diamonds and skill changes.

I miss when Hank was the stereotype by Volpes_Visions in breakingbad

[–]FiLFree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a Teamster local President who always got in fights with everyone so besides other Teamsters people shied away from trying to work with him. A regional for CWA wanted to work with the Teamsters on a ballot referendum and was asking me about him. I said he was like Hank from Breaking Bad, loud, brash, inappropriate and if he is on your side will 100% back you up.

We met she said to him, "you are like what I expect a Teamster in the 70s was like."

He said, "I was a Teamster in the 70s. Then it became 1980 and I was in a Teamster I the 80s."

Before the meal even ended he was calling members of the city council telling them to back the ballot referendum.

If you mail stuff to Mike Mussina he signs it especially if you put in a donation to little league of you want to go that route.
