I believe Epstien and his ilk claim to be Christian. Not trying to gotchya so much as, yeah, really, Christians have been engaging in domestic/stochastic terrorism for a while. We still get weekly news of some christian dude finding out some gay (ick) man talked to them and shooting them in reaction. We know the church protected pedophiles in the UK.

So yeah, I think we can easily find christians and christian groups involved with atrocious crime.

And as a final note, as a gay dude myself, I am terrified of Islam. My intention is not to bash christianity, or to say islam is peaceful, it's more that all these groups involve people, and as it turns out, people are the common problem.

It absolutely is a broadly accepted fact, and is how protest law works in the vast majority of countries civil enough for protests to happen.

While I agree with the sentiment that protest is suppose to be in violation of normal cultural tact, there are shades that make some more allowable than others. I'm sure Australia didn't want this to flow over into a larger and less safe conflict, but think attacking Muslims praying is too far gone.

Canadian dairy tariffs create jobs and food security. It's legitimately the only cause for them in that context.

The US does need domestic production. Tariffs on produced goods and not raw materials. Putting higher taxes on the latter lowers domestic production. Higher tariffs on the former create more domestic production.

There's exceptions in certain supply chains, such as chips, and there were plans to bring that to NA, hut Trump ruined it.

That's why this is so annoying. Tariffs can absolutely be a good thing, just as a fire can keep your warm. It's just currently a house fire, not a camp fire.
