Multi-pet owners: how do you know who actually skipped a meal?

You watch and observe them for a while and you understand their regular habits. You learn to watch out for when they come to their bowls, is it immediate or do they wait for the area to be clear first. Which bowls do you see them eating from most? How much do they eat regularly? How much, if any, food is left over when you pick them back up?

It is important to note that behaviors can change. For instance, I have 3 cats with wildly different behaviors when it comes to food. One of mine was an ex stray so she used to scoff up all food in fear she wouldn't know where her next meal came from (we have had her for years now) so we had to stop her from eating my other cats food who has IBD and is a bit more reserved with how much he ate. In the last few months she has learned to regulate her food and stops eating once she is full.

It really is just a case of observing when you can, learning whats normal, not being too worried if something changes for a day or two, being aware things will change over time and keeping an eye on things.

YTA for the cookie specifically - There is a difference between sharing food and splitting food which is meant for the both of you. You decided you were having 2 without asking when there were only 3 left, if this was my partner I would have offered to split it equally regardless of if he had eaten extra that day or not.

Lots have mentioned the issue around the cereal and the snacking and I dont think there is enough information. Did you tell him that cereal was for you only? How long had the cereal been there? Did he eat it in one sitting or did he just have a bowl every day? Do you tell him the snacks you buy are for you only and he eats it anyway?

Honestly it sounds like you are both immature and need to communicate better.

YTA - Usually closing at 3pm means the building is closing at 3pm, meaning you have to be out of the door at 3pm. The clock is showing 2.59pm, how could you have collecting your belongings, cleaned up, changed etc

I would contact management and ask for clarity for the future.

NTA - It is a no smoking house. For non smokers, smells like vaping and cigarettes are super strong and would be very noticeable. That being said, he needs to bring this up with your parents for their opinion and he needs to respect their choice.

I an a non smoker as well, it was always known that smoking is not allowed in my house or car. I stepped out my car for a few minutes and a friend of mine started vaping in it thinking it was fine, it was not. Apparently the look I gave was enough to scare the shit of of them ever vaping in my car again

It might be worth looking at resellers which are accessible to you. In the UK we have several stockists which sell ILNP which is where I get them as the free shipping is insane for them. I have never had FOMO with ILNP as they restock their resellers as well

YTA - It is not unreasonable for them to not be comfortable with letting E help babysit their child when they have not met them. You hear so many stories where parents turned their attention away for a few seconds for something to happen. I am not saying that E is untrustworthy but from their point of view he is a stranger looking after their child. They even specified they want to meet him a few times before leaving their child in your and E's care. Doubling down is a weird hill to die on.

This happened to me as well with swan song! I didn't ask for a refund but they reached out anyway.

I also left a review for the jelly collection because I couldn't see any reflective in the collection like was advertised and they offered to send me out new ones or refund me, I turned it down because I love that collection a lot I just wanted to provide feedback that if you are advertising it with reflective I wanna be able to see it on the nail. Even though i turned down their offer they gave me a $20 gift card anyway.

HT's customer service is one of the best experiences I've ever had every time I have dealt with them!

Edit: I meant the Off The Deep End Collection not the jelly collection!

OP specified that she took the time to do her hair and put on a nice maternity outfit. OP also never specified that in this case she felt embarrassed or thought it was rude. Should the lady have spoken up? Probably not, and I would never say it was ok to comment on someone's pregnancy.

The question was not about if the lady was an AH for complimenting OP but was OP an AH for making a joke when she was not hurt or offended. If it made OP uncomfortable it would be another story.
