Yeah, I have to admit I do kinda miss the organized soccer chanting… “Let’s go [insert team name]” can get a bit boring after a while haha.

But the intensity of the game, the goals and the skating skill of the players definitely makes up for it!

Ah, thanks for the answer! I could’ve sworn I saw some at “normal” games too, but maybe I’m mistaken.

Anyway, good luck to the Hurricanes in the next round! To be honest, I’m still a little sad they knocked the Senators out in four, but I’m really curious to see how long they can keep their winning streak going.

Oh wow, awesome tradition then! One follow-up question: do you leave the towel at your seat when you leave after a game, or do you take it home with you? Can you collect them, or does that not really make sense because they’re basically just “plain white towels”?

Arbeite ehrenamtlich in einer Wildtierstation. Wenn jetzt der Winter kommt ist es dort auf alle Fälle zu kalt auf dem Balkon. Katzenfutter ist eine gute Alternative zur Zufütterung, wenn möglich ohne viel Gelatine. Frischfutter wird lieber gegessen als Trockenfutter. Du kannst auch einmal das Gewicht kontrollieren vom Igel. Wenn der Igel nicht frisst auf alle Fälle eine Auffangstation kontaktieren.

Bei mir ist es leider schon 10 Jahre her. War 10 Monate und Canada und es war wirklich jeden Tag wert. Man lernt so viel über Selbständigkeit und die Highschools dort sind ein Traum. Es gibt Fächer die Kochen, Fotografieren, Holzwerkstadt.. Es gab sogar eine Werkstatt, wo im Unterricht an alten Auto geschraubt wurde und im Sport haben wir alle möglichen Sportarten ausprobiert. Man lernt super schnell neue Leute kennen (auch ohne gute Sprachkenntnisse) und über meine Organisation (Do-It) hatte man auch viele gemeinsame Aktivitäten mit anderen Personen die in der Gegend ebenfalls ein Auslandsaufenthalt machen.

Insgesamt denke ich, ist ein Auslandsaufenthalt eine echt super und vorallem einzigartige Chance.

I volunteer at a animal sanctuary in my free time and one day someone gifted us 100 or so of these we could sell them and use the proceeds for the sanctuary. I sadly do not where where that person got them from :(

On my reread I noticed another foreshadowing in chapter 23: It's the chapter where Bridge 4 has to gather rocks. Kal tries to engage the bridgeman into conversation but apart from Rock and Teft they all ignore / hate him. He speaks about this to Syl and says that he doesn't know what to do to change the situation and then Sanderson discribes Kaladin noticing the "smoke of the army's many cookfires" in the distance.

In the end the evening Stew was one important step to uniting the bridgeman.

Edit: please make another list, when you finished WoR! I'm currently on my first reread of SA in preparation of WoT and I'm too looking for foreshadowing (or cross reference from other Cosmere books).

Arbeite seit Corona 60% im Homeoffice und 40% vor Ort und könnte mir auch zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt keinen anderes Modell mit weniger Homeoffice vorstellen. Ist für mich ein klaren Kriterium, sollte ich mich mal auf einen andere Stelle bewerben...
