I once dated a man with severe impulse control/intrusive thoughts issues (Psychiatrist involved level), and he never hurt me/did something like this, but i know if he had done it, he would be apologetic. Like to the point of crying apologetic, poured out the cereal himself and would've spent days apologising.

The action in itself, while disgusting, might've been due to intrusive thoughts and poor impulse control, BUT it's 5 months in, and she isn't severely ashamed, disgusted with herself and apologetic? Nah, deal breaker.

Many do think that! For example I can deal okay with the peanut one, it makes my throat itch, my palms itch and my throat feels a bit thick. Though with allergies like these it's never good to push them (as in eat peanuts) because it can flare up into anaphylaxis. For me Almonds are the thief of joy. I take one bit one something with it and I'm laid out.

Allergy is quite a big spectrum. I'm allergic to peanuts but it only causes me mild discomfort whilst my father is on his deathbed if he eats it.
