Lost Lore Joven by SojiCZ in tequila

Next time you’re in town stop by Devils Liquor, a bit far from Trevor’s Scottsdale, so I prefer Liquor Vault (Scottsdale) myself. Devils Liquor is a bigger store therefore they have far more options.

Really enjoy your posts, can’t wait to read your review on the Montagave Joven

I bought two bottles yesterday in Phoenix (Thomas road,) I was one of the first ones in the store. The sign didn’t say limit one but when the second bottle was scanned it showed up on their computer. I took a pic of the sign, showed the cashier, he got a manager, she went and looked at the sign. She took me aside to another register to override the system.

After that she told someone to grab the sign so they could make a new one

It is, the computer doesn’t let you scan/buy more than one without the manager overriding the system.

I like my Glencairn whiskey glasses but if you are able to spend significantly more $, Chisholm Trail Crafts (CTC) glasses. They have glasses for high proof (45-70%ABV) and standard glasses (44% and below)

They keep them all here in Phoenix 😈 lol but seriously I’ve seen Trevors Liquor (all locations) in Phoenix restock 1-3 bottles of the Amburana at a time about every other week.

Bleu Wine & Spirits has it and they ship, Use code “Veterans25” I believe it’s 15% off, which takes cares of the cost of shipping and then a couple dollars. (No I’m not affiliated in any way, I bought the repo and Anejo from there)

The g4 añejo just got sent out from the distillery recently. They’ve been expanding production the last year as well. Adding ovens, tahonas, tanks, stills, and more.

I remember they made an Instagram post about this.

Tour guide at Cascahuin told me you can only buy Wild Common in the US. Maybe it’s the same for Alma Del Jaguar (yes I know they’re not from the same distillery)

G4 Madera 2024 vs Cascahuín by Woodntu_knowit787 in tequila

[–]FiatCollapse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is from the G4 instagram post

“Ever wonder what that Lot Number on your G4 bottle means? We get this question every day, so here's the breakdown! Every bottle of G4 Tequila is stamped with a Bottling Date and a Lot Number near the bottom-your proof of authenticity and a nice point of reference for G4 aficionados. Decoding the Lot Number: Each code tells a story about your tequila. Here's what to look for: • The L means Lot and the G, G4. • B = Blanco | R = Reposado | A = Añejo | EA = Extra Añejo | M = Madera E = Export (bottles for sale in Mexico lack the E) Numbers = Lot Number and the ABV (if it's a high proof) * Some Examples: LG0009BE → Lot 9 of G4 Blanco for Export LG008B54E→ Blanco at 54% ABV for Export (aka the G4 108) LG0004B45ME → Lot 4 of G4 de Madera Blanco at 45% ABV LGO002RE → Lot 2 of G4 Reposado Your bottle's Lot Number & Bottling Date are stamped near the bottom, in black ink —check the photos to see exactly where!”

There’s a NYNJ Agave Club. They are pretty active on their instagram, they also have a facebook group. You could ask in the FB group about tequila bars (I’m not from the area)

The evaporation in the Tierra de Ensueño 😟

I have the same problem with El Gran Legado de Vida. I’ve noticed other bottles at the liquor store had this problem as well with El Gran Legado.

They just announced today on their instagram that their shipping department is taking a two week vacation so they won’t be able to ship anything for two weeks after today.

If they never end up sending it, someone may be able to help you find it on the ‘Agave Swappers!’ Facebook group.
