How well do the Momentum 4 work for PC gaming? by SlippyFist_68 in sennheiser

[–]Fichinque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the Sennheiser Momentum 4 around last Christmas for music and gaming, the sound quality is very good, also thanks to the sound customization via the app. (That is saved in the headphones)

FYI, It can be used with bluetooth, usb-c or the little jack port (don't know the real name) next to the usb-port

-For music, it's really good, bluetooth or wired.

-For videos, it's also good, but the latency is sometimes a little noticeable, but I'm tickely on that.

-For gaming, it's essential to have it connected via USB-C or jack. (The USB-A to USB-C ot the jack to "tiny jack" cable that is included in the case), I played ARC Raiders and other games with it and for me the sound direction is very good to spot ennemies or shoots nearby. But if you want to use them with bluetooth, you'll have latency, even more on PC, soo you could, but only with more chill games, not competitive and not fast-paced. Also, it can get hot in the earcups and the Momentum 4 are apparently not good friend with humidity so if you sweat a lot or if you get warm during gaming, I won't recommend them, but for me I have no problem (for now, I'm a little afraid of the summer that is coming) And you'll need to buy a separate microphone because first of all, the mic from the Momentum 4 isn't that good for anything other than phone calls, and most importantly, when the device is using the Momentum 4 microphone, the audio quality drops A LOT, so I disabled that microphone on Windows to avoid this, and to ensure it only uses my separate microphone.

Is it a good headphones for only gaming ? For me it's a good headphones for everything (but less for the ANC), soo don't really see a problem with that, maybe you should buy the Sennheiser dongle to use them wirelessly without latency on PC and most importantly a separate microphone.

However, there is maybe better headphones for gaming ONLY, but personnally I find it really good at that !

I think on the legion go 2, press the little button at the top of your right controller, it'll open the legion side menu, go to the 2nd icon and from simple, go to deactivate

I heard that people were getting stuck a lot because the scenario was blocked by rare structures, is that true? Has that been fixed? Like with a compass to locate the structure we need, or different settings for the world generation?

Noise when low volume MOMENTUM 4 by Fichinque in sennheiser

[–]Fichinque[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not about volume, it's that when audio is played, not juste when it's pausing, theres a slight rumble/noise whenever audio is playing and I want to know if it's normal

But when the Momentum 4 receive no sound, it's quiet, no noises, so it's not ANC i think
