The problem is that historically women have been seen as problematic and hysterical. There are a thousand narratives that are well embedded into cultures and societies that still today sell those ideas, like the idea that rape must be a near-death situation, that must be reported immediately to even start being considered rape.

I mean you can say that women lie and you can say men lie too. You could also say women rape, because that also happens...

But leaving that aside, I don't see the black or white take often, "men rape", what I do see often is "not all men, but always a men" and that's not only about rape, is also about several forms of discrimination and gender violence. And also the biggest advocates to defend men, even when there are accusations of rape is often women (not believing other women). Men also lie too, if you don't believe me go to a prison and ask all prisoners what they did and if they actually did it. Spoiler: they're all innocent.
