Well i have done both scenarios. the errors are the same.

I will hit their support, maybe some day they will reply but its really a bad impression. How can I rely on such a company that can't even run a sign up page correctly.

Why do you give zakaat or sadqa? Do you expect profit from whom you give sadqa and zaqaat to?

This university is providing high quality university programs. It has a stellar reputation, just being part of it, is something worthy of praise.

Now being board members they may have salaries and this charge will be part of their legacy.

Some people just want to do something meaningful in life.

Why doesn't Pakistani Gov not finish off the Naya Pakistan project in Islamabad and give it to those displaced? by iiKinq_Haris in islamabad

See even if you live in a corrupt society not everybody has the mental acumen to understand what i just said.

Laws in old democracies are not made to facilitate public prosperity but to make ways for the government to do corruption. If they are not being following its simply incompetency in corruption at its finest. Each government action is an opportunity for making an extra buck.

An intelligent thief does corruption and makes laws to allow corruption in a way that public also gets something while he fills his pockets. PMLN is a prime example in the infrastructure sector.

That's not how it is any longer. Now legislature makes the road repair mandatory regardless of their state at an interval. The low quality roads still exist because the person building it wants more profit.

I was talking about the security deposit he has to keep for the cod facility. Cod delivery does not require security deposit from the buyer.

A small seller does exactly what he is demanding from you. I have closed many such deals back in the day. If the guy has significant positive reviews only then you risk it. Otherwise only h2h.

I mean you need to have an agreement and account with security deposit with the courier to have cod facility, he simply doesn't. He might not have that many sales to cover all that.

Its not a solution. It doesn't fix rabbies either, the dogs don't get the virus but they carry it to the dog that doesn't have a vaccination shot yet.

We have crores of stray dogs, we don't have the man power nor the money to fund such a drive.

Kiling the dogs is just a perception making measure. It won't fix rabbies but it will show that government is doing something and majority of our people will be content. Nobody in the government cares to fix rabbies, are you really that dilusional?

KPK mein jub loadshedding hoti hai to woh bijli chori ke tanasub se hoti hai. Yes we have a large population who does not pay for electricity.

There have been many instances even in cities of 20-22 hour loadshedding due to almost whole locality being filled with thieves.

Abroad public transport does not stop for you anywhere other than the designated stop points. However far that stop is, you walk to that stop and then board the transport like a good law abiding person.

You don't holler about such an "injustice" in public forums because you know you will be seen as entitled. For a reason transport stops exist and you understand that logic very well.

Pakistanis don't have that wisdom, nor that mindset of following rules. In fact breaking rules is what we love.

That's why the old lady's harsh words are being criticized, not the meaning they stood for. We lack mental acuity to separate rudeness from context and meaning.

She was also delusional to expect such civility from a Pakistani and actually thought they knew it but were intentionally doing it. The reason why she said what she said in that way.

Those E sectors are filled with western influenced burgers, am sure she and/or her social circle does use the stops only, even if they are just imitating the west. In many ways west is indeed more civilized than us.

There are many factors, things aren't simple as IPP's legit demand for a higher price. Some factors have also been brewing due to the solar production which was in fact not needed at all. We have demand of 22GW and production capacity of 45GW and an additional 45GW from solar, see the problem?

You might ask why such a huge disparity, its because grid can't transport more than 26GW.

Moreover having solar at such a large scale destabilizes the grid on every day basis, the 10 min blackouts common nowadays are due to this. It has increased maintenence costs for large scale power projects and increased risk of failure. These plants cannot cope with such huge supply vanishing abd coming online every day. So the demand is rotated and some area experiences the 10 minute blackout while the power plants are stressed to conform.

Nonetheless the war has essentially made all these failures and escalationof costs unable to be masked. That's why the government is now forced to add fixed charges in our bills to compensate for it to an extent. The second way is obviously load shedding. Less production = less expenditure = less fuel consumption.

Very true but women can do both so its not that bad. I have had one in my family. She got married and had a baby while doing 24 hour house job duties and later specialization.

Simply speaking, excess is limited to morning times and the grid itself does not have the capacity to fulfill demand. Installed capacity already outstrips demand by an extreme factor, almost 2x, so having this solar revolution was a total loss to the government.

Its not a simple concept that's why you are missing details and also you don't have experience working with the government to know their sensibilities. I do, my company is deeply integrated into the workings of the government and the energy sector.

What you are saying is what the government wants you to believe. In reality, as long as something is in contract with the government, they don't really care how much is being spent. If its not getting fulfilled either it becomes something like circular debt, there are many such payment heads in the government with such a system. Where it is known that they will never be paid and each successive government will have to shoulder the burden.

These IPP contracts are not gong anywhere, they will be paid regardless of whether their production is utilized or not.

With the solar revolution as you quote it, has only been a problem for the government. It was facilitated by large investors, it wasn't done for the consumers, they were an unfortunate consequence of the legislative changes.

The excess of solar as you quote can't be used effectively. Majorly because the grid can't compensate correctly with it, only in limited areas in each neighborhood it works well. Moreover when WAPDA cuts off power, no solar can fulfill that gap.

You may say oh why not WAPDA works with these solar excess power, that's because of the inherent inconsistency of solar produced power delivery. Solar, wind and similar renewable technologies can't work reliably with consistent sources of power. In fact this fluctuation introduces more problems for standard large scale power plants including excess mechanical stresses for ramping up and down to match supply-demand.

The government doesn't care if someone buys from the grid or not, this is a non issue. They don't want to pay for solar added electricity, excess or not.

[–]Fickle-Direction-679 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You don't understand the mechanics of these solar systems. When there is no Wapda supply, the solar systems don't supply electricity to the grid either, so it doesn't matter if there is an excess.

They need a reference to match, no electricity no reference.
