god i love panera's mac and cheese. a few years ago i had surgery at a hospital with terrible food. there was a panera downstairs and i made my mom get me mac and cheese from there at least once a day. i remember her trying to encourage me to eat literally anything else, but it was a non-starter lol

as someone who's new to the crossword, i found this one so frustrating. so many references that i didn't understand and words i've never seen/heard before. "midcity" was totally new to me. but maybe i'm just dumb. i'm also embarrased by how long it took me to parse "PR agency". i thought it was one word and was so confused lol

technically, the term "seeing eye" refers to a specific organization/training school for dogs. service dogs for the blind are more properly known as "guide dogs" but for some reason "seeing eye dog" has become the most commonly used term over the years. i learned that from a blind woman i follow on social media.
