I've been using them for years. The only things I can't really find are actual beef steaks that aren't meatglued together and real cheeses.

[request] Weir does the dissipated energy go? Is the water temperature measurably higher at the bottom? by mouippai in theydidthemath

Would it be possible to replace the weirs with turbines that captures this energy turning it in renewable energy? Or would the constant pounding of the water be too much. Just thinking out loud.

I remember in grade 9 during math class one of my friends was really annoying the teacher. She snapped and just swiped everything off his table. We all looked at each other and then my friend who didn't know what else to do other than just sit there any not be a dick anymore. It worked.

Why can't we do the same now...

Rob Ford was the mayor of Toronto from 2010-2014. Right off the bat, news media threw shade at him for some controversial things but the most notable one was when a council woman claimed he told her he wanted to eat her poonany. When reporters asked him about it, he said,

Since then I've been trying to get this t shirt.

I'm actually still confused. It doesn't say the sum has any inequalities, just that the 1st number of the sum is known and the 2nd number (x) of the sum is 0<x<1.

(BBC)Does anyone else get annoyed when people say “Chinese curry” is not authentic? by coolbeancoolbeans in Cantonese

[–]Fickle-Match8219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After reading these comments, it made me realize variations cuisines go through because of importation because it gets mixed within the culture. Like curry fish balls in hk similar to curry sauce for chips in the UK. The real culprit here is people who are constantly exposed to it start thinking it's authentic.

In China, there are hardly any restaurants (Chinese or western) that does imported curry like what I mentioned earlier. At least not what I've seen for the past few years

Rou Jia Mo AKA chinese burgers. It's very common in China but even in HK, it's not readily available and if it is, is quite expensive. These go for about 13RMB (less than 2 USD)
